I was one of the guys with you, this was so fun. I was the guy on the yellow quad, not the guy that flipped though. My dad was the guy in the Blue quad.
I have that green Honda 520.. mine is the foot shifter.. I live in pa.. been to mines n meadows a few times always a great time.. my buddy had a pass for 2 years with his camper trailer it's awesome.. after riding have a little camp fire crack open a beer and chill.. good times
It's definitely fun and better to ride at parks that are maintained.. I went hunting first time riding my quad brand new riding to my stand and got a big torn right thru my tire.. I was shocked.. that a thorn was that hard to go thru the tire..
Crazy. Shane at Michaux st forest, Pa on his canam commander got a rock right thru the main tread on his rear wheel. Plugged it up, but that's some strong rocks...or weak tires. :/ We always carry plugs, sidewall slugs and gluetread JIK.
@@TheBeatenTrail I learned that lesson I now carry plugs and a air pump.. plus a tow strap.. riding with others they give u tips on what to carry.. I was new the game this is my first quad ever 3 years ago... But the tires that came on my quad were not to good.. I put some sunf tires on.. cheaper then the others and the tread is close together and way more notches on the tire then the original ones...
Yes, I had the worst luck not knowing any better with stock tires on a polaris trail years ago. the grizzly XTR at least has some decent meaty tires, so, one day at a time!
I've ridden parts of Pinnacle, Pocahantos, Warrior, Buffalo, Ivy Branch, DevilAnse and some outlaws, but love to keep exploring every time we go down. The team went to Cabwaylingo, but I didn't get a chance to ride it.
If you camp and do a combo ride with another location (Like we did for Mt ridge, video coming soon), then tis worth it. 150 miles of trails, you could see it all in 2 days of riding. I thought it was cool, but the mine tour lasted about 10-15 mins, so I thought it was worth it. Certainly too far for a NJ day ride trip tho
I would say the trails were nice and muddy, but didn't run into much dust. I think on most trails whatever you drive will be fun, short of some of the most difficult or steep trails. Mountain Ridge, PA seems to be always dusty without a rainy day prior or on day of riding.
Looks like just bikes, atv, sxs. :/ www.riderplanet-usa.com/atv/trails/info/pennsylvania_14227/ride_28c9.htm but check with them on their website, just what I could find online.
When i was there years ago, it was a better experience.. in the mine i mean. Now, it seems everyone has a side by side with lights and gizmos just to make the wife happy. Turn all that shit off and experience true darkness. Always somebody afraid of the dark. 😢
What is your favorite part of Mines and Meadows? Tell us!
that place ROCKS .. great trails with different difficulty levels and managed.. love it .. the mine tour is an added bonus
We agree, we’re looking forward to getting back there sometime soon to camp as well.
Yep after watching this video we are adding this to our places to ride.

Awesome, was a great time. Hope you liked the video!
you had me at "mine" ;-) Cool video
Nice video. Love mines and meadows. Trail 2 is one of my favorites and some nice trails on that side. Never seen it that flooded.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed. Yes it was extra wet on most of the trails there so very muddy and enjoyable!
Definitely looking into Sidebyside after this video ..
Cool, let us know if you have any questions that our videos or Facebook page do not answer. Always willing to help! Glad you enjoyed!
Looks like an awesome spot. will definitely check this out sometime

Nice. Dante is a pass holder as well, I have to get back out there and ride this summer again.

Looks awesome 👏
Thank you! Well worth the trip!
Awesome video John...You guys in Lakewood this weekend
We are at the Tar Hollow Atv Ride this weekend june 11-12, sat, sun Hancock, NY - so not too far away from O&W!
Is it worth a 4 hour drive. I heard the best part is the underground tour. Not many miles of riding is what I was told. Nice video.

Thank you for sharing.
Thank you too
I have to get back out there.
So essentially if you have a sport AtV don’t go unless it hasn’t rained for a least a week?

Damn they changed the place a lot
I haven’t been there since March but what did they change from your perspective. I’d like to try camping out there sometime too and review it.

Do they require utvs to be registered to ride here? I'm a Pa resident
Yes. Just checked the waiver. Pa dcnr or out of state reg required.
