Used to work for Round 1 and working on this cabinet was a beauty. Always loved working on it and admiring the cabinet. To me it was the perfect modern pcb cabinet.

This video was pretty informative, thanks! I just bought a Noir HD and I want to rewire it to use Fast IO instead of JVS. Do you have any resources for what to buy or the best way to install it?
I dont know anything about how a noir is wired but as long as the control panel and board youre using works with it - it shouldn't be hard. Let me know how it goes!

@_Tizoc_ --- Is it possible to connect this to a PC or console to use as a monitor, speaker, controller to play games from them instead of using the arcade board?
Or is this basically a PC in a cabinet already and could be used to play PC games and emulation directly?
I think it would just be cool to sit in front of it and use the arcade controls to play different PC and console games.
Also, could console controllers or keyboards and mouse be connected wired/wirelessly?
@@antiWhiteism777 I play PS4 on mine all the time - it’s especially fun for playing the ladder in fighting games online. I wire my internet into my room and into the cabinet to make sure I have a great connection.
@@antiWhiteism777 you can pretty much do whatever you want but wireless stuff connected to the PC inside is also totally easy and viable

Hey im planning on getting 2 vewlix diamond oranges! Any update on how yours is doing? Did you ever replace the monitor or are you enjoying 1080p? Do you use any of the arcade hardware to play like sf4 and arcade games?
Check my newest videos I show off some cool X4 stuff. And yeah everything is stock for the most part. I added a few things but havent subtracted. I cannot stress enough that the Taito FGC Adapter that Lemony makes is essential to the Orange Diamond though.

what are the differences between the Vewlix Diamond Black, Blue & Orange ? other than the color
They each have different speakers, monitors, and stock IOs. Some people report that build quality is different as well. Generally the best reviews for build quality between all vewlix models go with diamond blue and FC as the best build quality wise. FCs are JVS, Blues are Fastio, and Oranges are USBIo which is the least known-about IO and some say doesn’t even have a real standard. Blacks come with fastio and usbio from what I’ve seen depending on what’s running in it. I think Fastio is still the most common in a black. Fastio is the most popular IO for the current multis available. The nicest monitors and speakers generally are in the newest cabinets with orange being the newest and black being next newest. My orange has much louder speakers than my blue did but my blue diamond did feel a bit more robust in its raw materials. My orange is in a more collectible condition though. If this was super confusing no worries- I will probably make another video more explicitly exploring the difference between models soon. Will definitely get a bit more into the nitty gritty on IOs and monitors as well and I’ll look around if I can find specs for the speakers.
Nope. Black and orange are the same. Same same. Only the colors are different.
USB io jvs io and fast io are optional for all except for f and FC which came with jvs and jvs psu.
F and FC came with sanwa. Blue with panasonic/toshiba. All were 768p and up scaling available for blue. Black and orange have the same screen which is 1080p.
Best colors and contrast are blue Dia screens which were ips.
I'm loving the orange diamond layout. Been looking around for the orange diamond control panel just for the USB port. I checked out your listed sources and they have the cabs in stock but I'd feel like an idiot to ask them just for the controller panel lol. Would you recommend anyone for this request.

Hi, I wonder if anybody can help, my vewlix is a type c running a taito type x3. I have a JA0100 transformer 230v step-down 100v. My cab powers off after 10 minutes. What is the current and wattage output of a vewlix cab? And what type of transformer should I get? I think my transformer can't support the cab 😕

@@_Tizoc_ uk. I've sorted the proble out. The ja0100 was drawing too much power to what it's capable of so I've ordered a new transformer. The cab runs sweet. Also bud a quick question, is there any specific brook fighting board I need for the vewlix? Which one do you use? Thanks in advance
@@xTRANSAx we dont have these problems in the us because Japanese and US power are pretty much the same. some people use step downs but you dont even need them.
Nice Cab ! Does this one with USB on Panel come with Taito X4 wire system inside ? Did you use the Multi ? Coul dyou make a video of the wiring inside please
sure! yes mine came with an x4. are you interested in x4 or the multi? i still only run the multi on x3

@@popeye7833 I switch them out. My x4 currently only runs the x4 game I have which is SFV. I switch IOs when I switch boards its fairly painless. Ive had my Fastio for quite a while. I was an early believer in the X3.

I tried getting a vewlix from KC but he dodges questions and answers everything with dont worry we can sort it out later. Inspires no confidence and I really dont know how he sells stuff. And I'm local so fortunate to have the auction close by to buy any machine at good prices.

@@_Tizoc_ I used to buy from them like ten years ago, sometimes I could get a beat up cab with neo geo or whatever for 50 to 100 bucks. Now prices are super high. Candies were 400 and also you can tell the good stuff is gone already and in collectors houses but you can get lucky sometimes.

Windy used to be the plug but their prices were not good. You’d save more money buying from Gamesaru or Hadouken and doing freight back to the Midwest.

How much did you get your orange for?
like 3k at the time maybe a bit less I cant remember maybe 2.5k thats the range they usually go for. It was pretty standard 3k for most of the time theyve been available and i was one of the first collectors to have them in the us. at first people were uneasy to upgrade from blues because of the new IO.
the amount of "uhh" and "umm"s is driving me crazy i cant finish this video dude.
@@henryblazer20 one of my first ever videos. definitely walked away feeling like it was too much but felt the knowledge was valuable enough to justify sharing even though it was imperfect. still trying to master speaking to the camera to be honest.

Not sure I understand the appeal. Crappy lcd screen to play games that we can all play on playstation on a superior lcd or oled screen. 2 grand for a shitty lcd screen... Pretty stupid.
by that logic why buy a CRT candy like an Astro or Blast when you could get a super gun and play them on a PVM??
i got a vewlix L and the screen is crap, i wont lie, its 720p, took it out and replaced it with a 1440P , but eventually will go 4k route for the ultimate machine. I can assure you sitting in front of it, via sitting in front of a tv isnt the same. The experience is much better.
The bracket is not expensive?! That thing is over $200 and the Vewlix FB groups already have tutorials on how to make one yourself within minutes... That guy is ripping people off with two bent peices of metal you can even make and drill yourself under $30 🤣😆 Give me a break. Too many greedy children in this hobby but thankfully the smart ones in FB groups figure stuff out and share this info freely.
Isn’t it $30? That’s how much I remember it being. Maybe I’m wrong. TBH I never needed a bracket or I might have made my own by now. Definitely not interested in misleading anyone.

That bracket is not even expensive especially if your into buying Japanese candy cabs $200 is pocket change..🤣🤣
