my husband is a drummer and has muscular dystrophy. when he lost the ability to raise his left arm enough to play, he strapped on some suspenders, attached a wrist strap, and now he can keep rocking. he even put together a band with other musicians who have disabilities. his guitarist was hesitant to join at first cuz she hadnt played in many years, but because everyone in the band understood where she was coming from and were patient, her playing was able to get back to rockstar level!
