Hello I'm from Bretagne in France. Thank you for your video really interesting but I felt a little bad with your crepe ^^' here it' s quite a religion ^^ I'll tell you how we do here, if you read this comment and are interested in :) I recommend you to try to reheat your crêpe with some butter (salted butter would be better) first on low- medium heat. Then you can crack an egg in the middle and let it cook. Next we add shredded cheese (emmental but you can use cheddar instead if it's more affordable and easy to find). And at the end you can add a little bit ham on a side or little chunks (pork, turkey or chicken depending of what you prefer). Then you fold it in square, the egg yolk must be in the center. You can serve it with a salad. There are a lot of popular combinations you could try : spinach smocked salmon and creme fraîche, cherry tomatoes and goat cheese (with honey if you like), mushrooms and cream... I think you should try doing your own "crêpes de blé noir" if you are able to find buckwheat flour in USA, it's really easy to make and it taste better with salty garnishes. Thank you for what you do! I wish you a nice day :) bye
@@honeysuckle ahah thank you but that's already really cool to try, the most important is the taste at the end :) if you liked it, that's great! there aren't just one way for doing things ^^
These videos make me so happy! I love your family and I love that your kids eat exactly what you and Nate eat. That's how I grew up and how I intend on raising my kids! They shouldn't be afraid to eat new things. Love you guys so much!!!
I LOVED it! French food should make a comeback already. I was surprised you didn't do a crepe from scratch, but then you explained how you had problems making them. I need to get a good crepe pan and start making them as I love crepes in both savory and sweet form (seafood crepes...mmmm!!!) But the ingredients you added to your crepe sounded so delish to me and I thought stayed pretty true to French ingredients. :)
I really thought you were going to make an almond croissant out of your almond paste. Man, I adore almond croissants and French pastries/baked goods/desserts in general!! That's what I should be using my big arse bag of almond flour for! LOL!
For me crepes are the easiest thing to do (i mean the white flour ones, i don't really like the ones with buckwheat), i make them all the time in winter for my daughter and i, you can put anything inside it's always delicious, but i'm french so maybe it' easier when we grew up eating those.
I get so confused when comes to cooking with wine. It’s like white wine or red wine but what kinda wine? The cooking wine , the normal wine and does have different flavors.😭
maybe i’ll do a breakdown sometime! white wine is usually used for a lighter sauce whereas red is for more braised deep flavored robust dishes. 🤗 i used to work with a lot and aloooooot of wine… 🍷
I love this style of video. It’s so natural, real, and relatable with the kids lol

You should definitely grow chives in your garden! They’re super easy to grow, and actually are beneficial to a lot of other plants as a bug deterrent.
the flowers are cute and yummy too!
Love your little family and thanks for sharing with us!
