I love that whole egg conversation with Cici! So freakin' funny when you just avoided her question about the baby in the egg. I was surprised this showed up on the Honeysuckle channel vs the Wild Honeysuckle one.
sorry to confuse!! i couldn’t keep up with two channels but we’ll put all the food stuff here and some … new life content on the other channel coming soon 😜
Love these kinds of videos. Also your Cook Once Eat Twice is one of my favorites too. Always glad to see a new video of yours pop up in my subscriptions.
Absolutely loved this video! Love the format & the recipes. Was nice to see you “casual” and relaxed! Or at least you seemed pretty relaxed. Thank you. 😊
I am always in awe of how adventurous you are with food!! I've been watching your vlogs for about 2 years now and have learned so much about food. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but a lot of times, I'll think 'ewww!! How is that going to taste good?' And then you always turn it in to something delicious that looks beautiful. I always appreciate how you explain the textures and flavors of everything you try! Thanks for all you do! This was a fun video💗
I need bean water every morning to maintain my sanity... and im surprised how u eat the cherry tomatoes straight from the packaging. From where im from, we always pre-soak whatever fresh produces we bought due to pesticides. Love the realness of this video.
Love Rhubarb. Use to eat it raw as a kid. But I dipped it in Sugar. 😊😁 What a fun video. Haven't done shake and bake in a long time. 😁 All the food looked yummy.
okay rhubarb tip! when i was little i would eat rhubarb at my grandmas house and dip it in sugar to balance the tartness. not the healthiest but so good hahah! also love this!
”have you ever had rhubarb raw? *proceeds to chomp* it's TART” me, who grew up eating raw rhubarb dipped in a bit of sugar right in my grandma's back yard: 👀
The entire family - all have a healthy appetite! Savoury coffee cake....yay....I made this before! Delicious 🤤.....I will make this again....thanks for reminding me!
I would love to know how to make my own shake & bake. I used to buy different variations but since I always have flour and cornmeal I would like to know how to make my own. Also would love to know what all you use to set up your cheese boards. I really want to do one but it just seems so daunting so I usually just buy a tray instead
Rhubarb is super common here! It’s in our garden. You can dunk it in sugar and eat the raw thing that way. Makes it a bit more pleasant Seems to also be called pie plant, which ... makes sense tbh. Most people don‘t eat it raw
Do you have or would you mind making a video explaining things you make vs buy?? So fruits, veggies, maybe even breads, juices. Id like to start a small garden for some veggies and/or fruits but idk which ones are easy to do and how do you start. Like is it easuer to start from a seed pack from a garden store or if from a store bought item (like the butts of letuce)
Wow, the idea of a savory coffee cake really appeals to me. I have a ton of almond flour I've yet to use, so I hope you do come up with a version of the recipe for your channel (assuming you really did like it). Your backyard is always so dreamy to me. I love it so much.
@@honeysuckle It doesn't even have to be savory since it's almond flour. I just need to use up my big ol' bag that I bought months ago and have yet to open. LOL
speaking of desserts from your book, I made the ginger cardamom lemon bars on thursday, and have carried them in a freezer bag halfway across the country and in a hotel room for my parent’s anniversary tomorrow. hoping they are still good hehehe
happy anniversary to your parents!! so special and sweet of you to make and bring across country!! also i am honored!!!! thanks for using my recipe for such a special occasion. i hope it doesn’t disappoint 🥰
My cousin received the Cuisinart one as a gift and loved it so she convinced me to get one over a year ago. I got the TOA-60 model because it was not as wide as the older model, but is taller. In hindsight, I'm not into all the digital features and would have just preferred the various dials as it's simpler for my old brain. :) Cuisinart has good warranties and will place the oven if it fails within 3 years.
@@doodahgurlie I was wondering about this because I’ve read the Breville’s fail a lot and their warranty is awful. I’m going to look into the Cuisinart. Thanks for sharing!
@@alexmcginness8859 Yeah, they totally honor their warranty without hassle, too. I know some companies make you send the product back at your own expense. Cuisinart just asks you to cut the cord and send a pic. I got mine online at Target for like $129 or less, which includes tax. Right now, the price is the same on Amazon for both the Breville Dzung got and the Cuisinart TOA-60....not sure if they hiked everything up due to covid or it just got popular. But it received a lot more reviews on Amazon than the Breville toaster/air fryer oven.
@@alexmcginness8859 Forgot to mention, just be sure to test the temp and time because if you use normal oven temp and time to cook, it'll be burnt. LOL! I usually lower the temp by about 25-50 degrees from what is suggested for oven cooking and may even lower the cooking time as well. And also keep it in a well-ventilated area as it does get hot when it cooks.
@@honeysuckle oh wow, I’m just reading up on it now and garlic caramelized over weeks? that sounds so delicious, I was already planning on grocery shopping today, I’m going to see if I can find some :)
sadly it’s also me… sometimes nate. haha our good old dishwasher does the heavy lifting tho but i load… sigh. should really try not to use so many dishes 😅😅
That turmeric shot sounds...unappetizing. I shudder thinking how bitter it might be as I think a lot of turmeric in something makes it bitter. I know it's supposed to be good for you, but surely there are better tasting things out there. LOL

Sugar and corn starch? Noooooo!
what are you talking about? that’s common in pie fillings, the corn starch just gelatinizes the fillings so it’s not soupy
@@pep_z780 I'm avoiding sugar, and unfortunately for me, sweet potatoes are a no go too. 😕
