Hello, i would like to ask about the autodesk autocad. In autodesk autocad we have different type of autodesk autocad like autodesk autocad MEP, autodesk autocad, autodesk autocad inventor, autodesk autocad revit.Could you tell me each programm, what it is use for? I do not know which one is good for designing electrical in buidlng. Thanks
Hello. My English is not good, but I will try to explain for you know about your question. Currently, Autocad still have very many people use, because people are familiar with it and use it very good. And specially, when you show your drawing for shop engineer or supervisor engineer (people with experience) then all them will understand it. But it can't be control exactly, like quantity (duct, pipe, grille, insulation....), when you have to do many thing and you don't have many time to do it. Contrary, autodesk revit or call revit MEP will control it very good, at least about quantity, intuitive and worker will understand it is easily, because it show 3D drawing. But let worker can understand it is easily, then people who draw it must very well and have knowledge, experience many year to show it best. And now, it still have difficult, because family of revit don't have many, part of, due people don't share it together, because create family in revit mep will spent many time. Therefore, they don't have share it for anyone. In many programe, you asked above, then in the future, revit mep will be development very strong, because it help engineer very and it will be widely development if people share it together. This is my particular idea about autodesk general or private for revit mep. Can you send meassege for me any time, I will answer it if I know.
no small business can afford to buy revit. autodesk is targeting the big corporate business which i really find it unfair and very offensive. fck autodesk!
