Thank you for the video, however, it seemed like you were pointing out things you would do if you’re already a probation officer instead of applying for a job that you’ve never done before. How could you refer to staff before you get the job
their is no sincere communication with these narcissist working in the probation service they abuse language they abuse truth their not talking to you with a point like a normal human being would what ever it is their talking about is a smokescreen for their intent talking is not really what they do they signal and what theyre signing is im better than you what they re signalling im superior to you if a person is communication with you and their not being sincere then you shouldnt be sincer either abandon sincere communication when communicating with the insincere just let it go in their interaction with you their trying to exasperate you they dish out a emotional cocktail of utter lies in an attempt to get a rise out of you
Hey, finding your videos really helpful for info so thankyou! Just wondering, what’s the difference in a Probation Services Officer role or joining probation through the PQiP programme? Have been offered a PSO role, but there’s currently routes to apply for via PQiP
I am in the same position as you, from what I can see, the difference is you need a degree to join through PQIP, if you do the PSO route then you can become a Probation Officer via the Progression Pathway campaign were you only need a NVQ 3 to be eligible. That is my interpretation of what I have read, I may be wrong.
I am applying on 31st January, I have a Bachelor in Law LLB Hons however, and tonnes of experience in entry level jobs, prison, hostel support worker and Care Team Assessor. Will my LLB Law degree be considered? Seeing that I have neve studied psychology? Thank you.
Can I ask what the interview was like? I have an interview on the 24th and just wanting an idea of what the structure of the interview would be x @jorden2686
@@leonaxjayne it was quite laid back and I feel they just wanted me to by myself. The questions and scenarios they asked were quite general I.e dealing with difficult people
@@leonaxjayne also did an assessment first which was a written report. They gave us a scenario and we had to obviously point out all the risk factors and state what we do I.e substance misuse - referral to appropriate services etc.
Illegally manages role if not keeping in conjunction with the law
The information in this video is precious; thanks.😀
I’m glad it’s been of value for you

Yes it will so you will be eligible for the longer route if you haven’t got the specific criminology modules
I have an interview on the 16th Jan- do you think I will be okay taking some index cards in with me to help me as I’m anxious?
How did it go? Apologies I couldn’t respond sooner. Did you use the cards?
@@HowtobeaProbationOfficer I have a conditional officer 🤭 I wasn’t allowed to use the index cards though x
