Generally most Thai men are bastards, and most Ferang tourists are not much better, so there is a lot of stigma working against you. Take the time to learn the culture, language and family customes and you will be fine.

I highly recommend Hua Hin and Prachuap Khiri Khan, both of which deserve to be retired because you won't find Chiang Mai's smoke. The temperature remains constant throughout the year. There is a sea, but the cost of housing and food is cheaper than Phuket, Samui, but a little more expensive than Pattaya. but not as light as Pattaya and very loud at night There are many shopping malls, fresh markets, night markets, restaurants, high standard hotels. public and private hospitals, theme parks, sea and natural and cultural attractions Convenient transportation, including trains, airports, boats and roads with motorways. and in the future is a HSR train. and near Bangkok metro.

Agree with most but try get to Bangkok or worse swammpie airport in the afternoon from hua hin in a car it's 6 hours especially on Friday's
