Just love your content. Would probably love to live in Hua Hin. One topic that I found missing in almost all RUclipsrs in Thailand is what i call "the in between". Before moving in, do the big change in your life, you need "to try" for a 3-4 month. No one talk about this part : either for tourism or expat. How easy is it to rent a place for a few month, how to acclimate yourself to that new reality, how easy or difficult it is, reality of "offshore" work, etc. I am 51, from Canada, and would love to try few months a year before doing the big jump if it's for me. I do believe that i am not the only one who would like one or two video on this topics. Many Tks Jonny
If you have been a few times then there’s nothing that should stop you once you decide. You are in your head about the small details that will be half the fun of moving to Thailand
A couple Jonny interviewed in Pt 1 spoke directly in this regards Cheers
Plenty of Airbnbs you can rent for a few months
I'm going there for 3 months to see if I want to move there. Chang mai and Hua Hin
@@lostboi3974make sure you go to Chiang Mai during burning season to see if you can handle it or have a plan to leave for 3-4 months of the year when it happens
What a great blog mate have fun enjoy rock and roll. Keep the good times coming
Best blogger and vlogger in Thailand and always saying things in real way in how they are.Hua Hin is the only place in Thailand where there is immigration in shopping mall,so convenient.
Thank you buddy, yeah the immigration At bluport is very convenient and very quick

Great vlog Jonny, the Chang food market is a great night out, variety and good music, can recommend the tacos where you were talking with bazza, hopefully flights to bkk and other Isaan regions in the future as Chiang Mai was the only place directly to Hua HIN

Love the videos Johnny....
Thank you and glad you enjoyed it
I live in Vancouver now, but life here is becoming very expensive. Hua Hin looks like the first place I will be scoping out to see where I might be retiring soon. Thanks for your videos Jonny!
Seen a half a dozen of your vids...this one Plus Barry's prompt, got my Subscribe!
Thank you welcome aboard 👍😊
Great, thorough content and excellent presentation. No Kidding!!! Surprised some American News Network hasn't scooped you up as some sort of roving correspondent. At the very least, you might want to become a network "stringer." Anyway, great job, Jonny.
Thanks again Johnny. I've been looking around and good to hear what Barry said. I keep going back and forth from samui to Hua hin but Hua hin just seems little better and easier.
No problem Thomas glad you enjoyed it
Two fantastic videos Jonny 👍🏿
Thanks Terry
Great video!!! Love it,!! 😁
Thank you!! 😁
Thank you. Very informative video! I'm a 60 yo man from Virginia USA. Been thinking about retirement...
Killing it ❤
Looking Fit Jonny!!!, good effort.
a good follow up video from part one
Great presentation Jonny thanks
Glad you enjoyed it Tim
Thanks jonny and som ya the the best
Thank you Michael have a great weekend
Long time sun here bro! Loving the hua hin series! Thinking about a small vacation home in the area so we can go back and forth from issan…..btw- you lose kilos? U stop the beer? Looking great!
Chipping in on the wifi, I used ATG just on my phone throughout my last 2 months there and tethered to my laptop and had bad a$$ speeds that exceeded my speeds here in the USA for very very cheap. Thanks Jonny! I am back in Thailand Jan/Feb I hope to take some time to visit to check out Hua Hin. Perhaps rent a place for the wife to rent and me to visit to see if that is where we want to permanently move to.
Thanks for the info on the True Arena
Great to meet you and Som Jonny and very happy to help promote your channel. See you again sometime, Bazza
You look very happy there Bazza, well done mate!
Cheers Barry much appreciated and thank you for being in the video. I owe you a beer lol
True Arena is a great looking facility.
Very good, very good Jonny and very informative ;-). If I go to Thailand for my two months trips in future years (my retirement time) would be more interested for renting a quiet service appartment (service = cleaning and/or cooking) near a transportation point (bus or train station)....so if you have informations about that kind of rentals, let me know. My alternative is an hotel in Prachuap Khiri Kan muang.
How bout the other side, give us the challenges, the potential issues, and things people might find difficult to deal with. There’s always another side and seeing it in advance brings a more balanced perspective. It would make for an interesting video or two. Might want a comparison video to those other places Forbes mentioned. Thanks for the content.
Many thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it
Go there for a year to see. If you would enjoy living with the less successful types that like to drink and complain about the Thai while sweating and getting stung by mosquitoes than Hua Hin is for you.
Good content and camera work, mate, makes me want to try Thailand.
Thank you 🙏 definitely give it some thought 😊
Hello Jonny could you please create one or more videos on health and medical services, including dentistry, and advice on how medical insurance would work in Thailand for a retiree. This is crucial information for planning retirement in another country.
strong reason for picking hua hin but also nearby places including PKK. Great vlogs expose them.
Yes, true
Hi Jonny, I am a fellow Aussie, just arrived 2 weeks ago to Jomtien. Love it, It is amazing. Planning on checking out Hua Hin with a view to longer-term living. I would love to be near the beach so any recommendations for accommodation options would be greatly appreciated here. I'm still pinching myself, can't believe I'm actually here! Hello to Bazza if he's reading the comments
Keep doing some more of these vlogs
Jonny You from the Gold Coast. I'm presently staying at Tweed Heads. Soon departing from BNE to BKK
Looks great I hope to retire in 4years I will give u a shout 😊
I am on the North Coast, had Fixed wireless NBN, joke. 2.5 MB per sec if lucky and full speed. Had to buy Starlink, great speeds and kills the NBN. But $139.00 month. I am about 1.5 hrs from Tweed. Just spent 12 days around Sukhumvit 15....Was the best.
G'day brother, hope all is well. Prices on property are good 👍 compared to Samui 😂
This is it! Best place really will not understand whom will argue!😅
Looks fantastic coming there soon will beat living in Darwin 😊
Another great video from Jonny on the spot..See you in January for that beer you promised me...555
Look forward to it Paul, glad you enjoyed the video
Awesome video, loved the tennis complex
Crikey Jonny you should be the Australian tourist ambassador to Thailand Hua hin
Ha ha I couldn’t pay me enough Perry many thanks for watching mate. Hope you are doing well
Best for people who read Forbes ..it still expensive for many of us as a local . But I have to agree that it s more peaceful than Pattaya or Phuket
Back yard , like my nanas house in Collingwood
Great content from a bright guy. Could you address the weather a bit perhaps? In the rainy season what do you do...where do you go nearby if you want to avoid rainy season? Next, an interesting combo is Hua Hin primarily and ideally spend July thru October in Italy perhaps. The Thai side is so inexpensive frees up $$$ for some fun Euro travel. Airbnb in Italy can be fairly reasonable a few miles from hub tourist centers. Perhaps a part 3 addressing more issues is in order as everyone loves your first two videos!!! Cheers...
Hua Hin is one of the driest areas of Thailand with about 300 days of sunshine a year 🌞 rainy season no worries 😉👌🏽
Thank you for the info
thanks for the great videos very informative, hope to be ya neighbor soon
Cheers Jonny, Maybe you can ask or interview Barry why after 6 months in Koh Samui and 3 months in Phucket, what didn't he like about it them and what made Hua Hin the ultimate choice over them? thank you Mate
The Citicar market 😅 yep been there✌️ Cicada market 🪰 nice family environment, for activities for kids, arts & crafts. No yobbos😉😄
Great video Jonny, you are really promoting your area you live Hua Hin, maybe one day, you are Lord Mayor lol, Paul from Arena Hua Hin, did he say come and put in your routine or come and do your rooting? Id be interested in the second one 😂😂😂😂
Ha ha ha I missed that I might go back and have a look, Maybe one day the mayor will give me a key to the city lol
Good info Johnny. I'm thinking of coming over there, never been. i live in Los Angeles now and am thinking about retiring over there perhaps. Im 51 so have 11 years to go. Maybe ill come over next year? anyway, keep up the good content!
Thank you glad i could be helpful Molly
Mate I want to move there asap! I’m 44 just trying to get my finances sorted, it harder than I thought.
On ya johnny. I might say gday n catch ya for a beer or 3 when i lob to hua hin.
Sounds good Steven look forward to it many thanks for watching
When I took the bus from Bangkok to Hua Hin, it dropped me off at the temple close to Bintabaht, to the annoyance of my friend who went to the bus station to meet me.
Lol I bet that was confusing for everyone hope you enjoyed your trip
Hey, do they need a tennis coach for their tennis club at the Sport's complex?
Jonny, how much does the Hua Hin tourist office is paying you? 😂
You're the best! And if I'm considering retiring in Hua Hin, later, you are solely responsible for that!
Ha ha nothing unfortunately that would’ve been nice though😁 Oh that’s excellent to hear I’m glad to hear that I’m responsible to for a lot of people moving here I think. Hopefully look forward to seeing you here soon
Hi Jonny, I’m an avid follower of your channel, I’m in Hua Hin for couple of days, would’ve loved to have a beer with you but it’s probably too short a notice.
Could you recommend a good sea food buffet here in town or somewhere reasonably close by please.
Hello yes unfortunately I am away for a few days would it be nice to catch up seafood buffet I recommend the Marriott or any of the five star hotels is your best bet but the Marriott would be the number one And it’s not a crazy price either
nice tips, is it also nice there to live as a young person?
Hua Hin looks very attractive. What's life for a single person like? Is there a dating scene? More importantly, what about medical care; hospitals, doctor access for medical conditions like diabetes etc? Prices seem very reasonable.
You’re selling me on Hua Hin big time Jonny. I’ll be down that way from 13 Nov. Do you do meets with subs, mate?
Hi mate it just depends if im in town or not & how busy i am really. You can email at jonnythereissomethinghappening@gmail.com when you arrive buddy and i can see how things are at the time. Have a great weekend Justin
