Green is not my favorite color, but these are beautiful. The undersea green is stunning, though, and I'd love to play around with that one.

I’ve read comments and heard on YT videos that Jackson’s watercolors are made by Sennelier. I have a few of Jackson’s full pans. I found them to be an economical way to purchase full pans. I wish the color range was more extensive and they would add more to their range, unfortunately they haven’t. The Daniel Smith undersea green is stunning. A green that I frequently use for easy backgrounds is A. Gallo olive green deep (PY154, PY110, PB29). BTW love your palette!
I love olive greens and undersea green is probably my current top!

Again a lovely video to watch. Thanks for those videos. I love several granulating greens of Schmincke. Desert green, urban green, tundra green. And also forest grey, mora a brown/green than grey in my opinion.

Thank you sketches. I love greens too - but I have a blind spot, so have a lot of convenience greens. I actually just purchased MH Moss and I thought of you when I saw it - I actually drew in my breath - I love it!

One of my favorites is SD cascade green. After seeing your greens I think I’ll try Jackson’s sap the next time a make a Jackson’s order. Thanks for sharing.

favorite green is Roman Szmal's Autumn Green. I have always loved Perylene Green and Daniel Smith's Green Apatite Genuine. Cascade Green is growing on me and I like the RS Aquarius Green as well. One green I struggle to like is Terre Verte or anything made with PG23 or Green Earth colors with exception DS Rare Green Earth. Have tried Wallace Seymour's range of earthl greens and they are making me appreciate these pale greens a bit. Thanks for the video!

This was SO awesome! My favourite green from today’s swatching has to be Daniel Smith’s Undersea Green and I do have it in my palette. I am also a big fan of good old Sap Green which I have from Daniel Smith, A. Gallo, Holbein and Sennelier, but I was really wowed by today’s Jackson’s version! And, oh my gosh! That Roman Szmal Aquarius Green is calling to me like a siren on a rock! Thank you so very much for doing this, dear Sketches. Your videos are always so inspiring. Sending love 💚💚💚💚💚✨💫

LOVE this comparison vid and it's very useful to me because there's a few greens I've been curious about purchasing but wasn't sure how they compared to other shades. I agree with you about the RS Aquarius Green being stunning, in fact, I've been comparing mine with DS Undersea green lately for fun and the Roman Szmal is just so much more enchanting. That MH Sap green was very underwhelming considering the prices they charge. Found the same with their other shades too. Another lovely shade of green you might like to compliment your RS Aquarius green is DS Serpentine genuine. It's magical.

This is nearly an impossible choice for me because Green is my favorite color. Hmmm, I think the perm olive green is my favorite of these swatches. At least for today, haha! Will likely change by tomorrow. Thanks for checking these out and sharing. 🙂

My favorite green by far is Daniel Smith green apatite genuine. It’s beautiful for foliage and so many different things! I loved this video and would like to see more. It is nice to see a video!

Nice video! My favorite green is my newest - and at least temporarily final - addition to my palette - Malachite genuine by Kremer. It is subtle, I like to use it for mists, and, effectively, the moon in many of my paintings.

I loved seeing the DS Undersea and the RS Aquarius. The MH one was BORING. I didn't know about magenta + PBk31 :o Now I need to try it with my WN PBk31 gouache and my various magenta gouaches.

I started with Daniel Smith paints and always go back to my 3 first greens: Sap Green, Undersea Green and Green Apatite Genuine. If I only had 3 convenience greens forever, I feel I could get by with those. I really love some of the Schmincke super-granulating greens too (tundra green, deep sea green, and forest brown). I really like granulating greens for landscapes which is what I tend to paint most of the time.

I have too many favorites 🤭 Holbein: Leaf green, sap green, shadow green Sennelier: olive green, forest green Daniel Smith: Jadeite genuine, deep sap green, sap green A gallo: fig green, olive green deep to name a few 😂

I currently have 3 favorite greens (subject to change at any time, lol) and they are Roman Szmal Autumn Green, Roman Szmal Aquarius Green and Daniel Smith Sap Green.
They are three of my favourites too! 😂😂😂 with Aquarius green and sap green being the colours I use as if they are going out of fashion 😂😂 (aka repeatedly) xx
