    Climbed Sundial in October. Fun little ridge scramble. Unfortunately later that day someone fell to their death trying to climb it :(

I can't tell you how many times I've left my wife at a spot and have had to constantly check my phone for service so I can call and tell her that I'm alive, just running a little behind. Awesome stuff. Looking forward to exploring the Wasatch!

    Coming out to Utah this September for getting photo reference. This trail will be on my must see list for sure. Though I doubt I’ll climb to the top as I imagine it would be unwise to attempt with a camera in tow. Can not wait! Cheers to you guys. 🤙 All the best..

    • @TheMountainMatt
      @TheMountainMatt  2 года назад +1

      You should have some awesome colors just starting to happen if it’s late enough in September. It’s a popular trail so try to hit it up during the week 👍🏼. There’s a faint trail around the backside of the lake that leads up towards the peak. You should find much more solitude up there and some pretty rad vantage points! I took a GH5 on a mantispod up there so you should be able to get a decent sized tripod up behind the lake, if you really want 😁👍🏼.
