    Awesome hike and great scramble to the peak! We hope to get back to Idaho and hike the Pioneer Mountains. Beautiful! We just hiked the Sawtooths last year. Love Idaho! 💞

    My wife and I hiked up to Pioneer Cabin last September and we got out first look up at Hyndman. Now after seeing your video of the cabin and the peak we hope to summit Hyndman this September. We really enjoy your videos and you are really doing some great editing and making some really enjoyable watching. We get a feeling of almost seeing some of the places you go to. We live in Western Wyoming so it is nice to see you up in the Tetons. Keep on sharing your experiences and we look forward to seeing more.

      Thanks Mike! I appreciate your comment and you reaching out 😁 Emily and I will be empty nesters in a few years and we’re looking hard at moving to that part of the country. It’s so incredible out there! September should be a perfect time to tackle Hyndman. You’ll really enjoy that peak! I’m so glad you enjoy the vids as I love bringing our adventures to people! Cheers!

    Have you done Borah yet?

      @TheMountainMatt 20 дней назад +1

      Heading out to Jackson and Idaho Falls on Monday actually 😃! Doing the Middle and South Teton. Thinking about Borah or Mount St John 🤔 as well. I’m torn!

      @@TheMountainMatt Super cool! Can't go wrong with either! Just finished Borah yesterday... the descent is awful (in my opinion) but well worth the torture. Have fun and be safe out there.

      Was there any climbing involved? I heard it's pretty much a class 3 walk up, is that correct? Any snow left over?

    • @TCB84
      @TCB84 20 дней назад +1

      @@TheMountainMatt ehh.. class 3ish scramble/climb on chicken out ridge and that's pretty much it. Great hand and foot holds up and down. There is a small 20ft or so down climb off the ridge onto the snowbridge but it's super easy. The only snow you have to worry about is the snowbridge, absolutely dry otherwise.
