Great Test Condition's 👍 I'll get 42-43 miles~68-70 Km on mine, if I keep the heat on very low or No A/C, & also staying under 55-mph~88-Km/h. Noting eats Range faster that shown, like driving in the 70-Mph~110=Km/h for me. WAS That a Yellow EX30 I saw @ 5:42? Nice ! ... ( Love your Videos 😀 )
We have owned our XC60 T8 Recharge 24yr model with extended 3 layer battery for 7 months and from day one we achieve an average of only 26 miles (42km) instead of 48 miles. That is with heating and A/C off! After a few trips over 5 months to the dealer, Volvo remotely diagnosed that we had some faulty cells (cells having a high resistance) requiring a replacement battery. We have been chasing Volvo daily with the assistance of the dealer as they still haven’t given us a date when a battery will be available let alone when it can then be installed into our car. In the interim we are having to rely on the very thirsty petrol engine. The worst thing is, it still cost us the same to fully charge the battery, it just depletes much quicker than it should and sometimes having fully charged the battery we go to drive it the next morning to find it has zero charge. 😢 You have now given us range envy 😂
After watching your video, I went out with a full battery and tried to see what I could get out of the battery before the engine kicked in… I managed 46 miles then the engine started, so it must have been using the reserve, range at the start was 40 … impressed, and surprised how much electric the air conditioning uses 😳 , loving the car…
still learning, shame they can’t make the goggle system work better, we need more tricks and voice options… the argument that passengers can do it is rubbish, give us an option to turn it off, rather than just not let us have it 😳
Good video. My 2022 XC60 T8 Recharge with the 18.8 kWh battery pack gets between 36 and 40 miles. Are there any changes in the set up on the 2024 models you are aware of because I definitely cannot get the 45-48 miles you see. Thanks!
looks like great electric only range, but your average speed was low, and the tax on a/c and/or heat does affect range. Highway + city driving would likely be a lower distance? For how much of this test were you driving highway speeds for this drive? Thx. great video
Great video!! I have ordered a VOLVO XC60 T6 plus trim MY25 from Germany dealership while was assured that it will be from Sweeden factory. Unfortunately, I' ve been informed that it will arrive at late of August and it will be from China. I was dissapointed. I dont know what to do. Should I cancel the order or not?
An XC60 MY 2023 owner here. Don't bother and cancel your order already. It's a car with many quality issues, and Volvo is not the customer friendliest company in the world. For example, I am still waiting for a hands-free tailgate opening option to fit my car! I paid for it 2 years ago and still need to be put in my vehicle. At that time, there was a shortage of new cars, and I didn't have many options, so I bought one from the dealer with the hope that they would install it soon and now it has been 2 years. It's not an important option, and I can leave without it, but it shows that Volvo doesn't care about its customers.
Pretty good 👌 As expected. I'm a huge fan of this iteration of Volvo Plug-Ins. Great video.
Thanks mate! These cars are underrated.
On my XC60 T6 MY24 - the max electric range I managed to get was 88km. I drive gently usually. And 1000 km on the full tank, with empty battery.
Wow. So far I have managed 70 max - with careful driving and ac off!
Thanks Thom 👍🏻
I'll get 68km with my XC60 T8 2025 Black edition. This beast is so confortable and smooth and beautiful, unbelievable.

I have an XC90 T8 (MY 2024). Electic range between 60 and 70 km, depending on temperature. Works flawlessly.
That Volvo looks awesome

Haha that’s great! On to many more electric miles 😄 Cheers!

Zal ik eens doen Chris! Het blijft uiteindelijk een 4cyl turbo motor, lekker zuinig 😀
My Xc60 T8 2024 consumed around 14l per 100 km only using petrol with average speed 160km/h
Very average speed also 😂
Rain is a range killer! Did you also shut down the high voltage electric heater in the climate settings ? This also makes a difference.
Looking to the wheels I assume that it’s on 22 inch wheels. 21 inch will also make a bit of a difference in range!
Nice dog, matches the car
Just needs to get a gold collar haha!
Great video!!

In general you ordered a great car. China or Sweden, it’s exactly the same car.

Au Québec je ne fait jamais plus de 60 klm en été avec t8 2024 pourquoi en Europe vous faites 20 klm de plus
40 miles is as much range as my battery degraded Nissan LEAF 2012.
😂😂
