I have volvo XC60 Ultimate B5. I am ending subscription. I love the way it looks, sound (even tho i had issues with rattling speaker housing) i love that it is elegant and minimalistic with plenty of power and SAFETY. I was now in process of buying new car and it was BMW x3 m40i. Everytime i was walking towards my volvo i had a feeling that i am making wrong decision. Prior to deliery i have decided to cancel on BMW and stay with volvo. I would never thought that i would get attached to a car. Order for T8 ultimate placed. I just feel there like at home.
Have the same car. 2025 top of the range X3 will be my next upgrade. This Volvo is a lovely car with plenty of power and power range suits my daily commute. Current X3 is a poor man’s X5.
This car made a very compelling argument for me. It would be so hard to decide between this and an X3 M40i. But most of my driving is city driving so this is kind of winning 😭
The x3 will make you happier but will drain ur wallet, that 40i engine is no joke 😂 you will enjoy it during long distance trips and stuff but even in the city it’s not that bad, I had a x4 40i for 2 years, sold it for a x5 m50i but it was quick and nippy while being fuel efficient, well at least compared to the x5 😂 averaging 14 litres per 100km this side 😭
Volvo is moving away from combustion engine vehicles and moving into the electric scene hence every car they launch now is either a full electric car or a hybrid. So bringing out a diesel car will be “ moving backwards “ for Volvo
Hi please cover me (you asked us) on whether those fancy Thor hammer lights are MATRIX or have an option like that or even adaptable. Also why Volvo never attach a CCS option. Some and most hybrid in that class Including BYD sealion,Velar, GLC in other countries have the CCS option. I mean i should be able to quickly charge in Middleburg for 25 minutes while in the bathroom and checking rhinos en route to Mbombela and still use 4/5 litres of fuel if i want to. I mean surely volvo must allow the hybrid to have CCS and the user the right to fast charge. Also is it true that this car has 1050km range. As an aside i think the IX3 is cute and they are going down selling around R899990 and it will be a choice between the two. Full ev or hybrid. PS update me on the Volvo lights. Are they Matrix standard?

I believe the x3 has the upper hand when compared to the xc60 due to the tech and performance ( more fun to drive )

It’s on Air Suspension so it’s definitely much more comfortable and you feel the comfort as well.
