@@marcjacobscontinued9411 "...two- gender"? Umm. What's all this about?Drugs perhaps. Songs don't need to be politically correct. This rendition by Aretha Franklin of Carole King's song should have no criticism.

      @@moonfall8972 thanks.
"........Songs don't need to be politically correct..."
      songs don't.
I'm rather referring to the response of the (mainly politically left orientated people in the) audience to the song. I understand that they get wild for Aretha (I would too), I'm just having a blast with the fact that they are responding to a song called "You make me feel like a natural woman" when all I hear (from like-minded people) is that there are lots of different genders. Hence my comment. Again, if you want a "gotcha", you got it. If you want to win an argument or difference of opinion, you won moonfall. You won. No problem. I'm not so into duality-thinking, even though I do think that currently there are only two genders haha, no matter what 'they' try to put in my head. It won't work (for now). Maybe a third gender will pop up one day and then I will be the first to acknowledge that gender.

I play this every time I need to flush out my tear ducts. A 73 year old and ailing Aretha Franklin pays tribute to Carole King and hits it out of the fucking park! Carole understandably loses her shit and 44 even squeezes out a tear. I'm not a religious person but gods walk amongst us - here's evidence for that.

They never expected Aretha to be there. To be straight, ffs, she was dying of the big C. So please understand Carole’s reaction. She did write this song and to have the Queen perform it must have been a lifetime achievement for her. Carole was twisting in her seat to speak to her daughter.

Just saw this on Nightline. They have just partially settled her will. She had left a hand written will and the latest found by a niece in her one of her sofas. It wills the house to the youngest son who in turn is giving it to his daughters, her grand daughter and 2 of them which are showing signs of the singing talent like their Grand mom. One was on American Idol. She was only 15 and did not make it out the 1st round but they told her to they will gladly await to see her again. By then she had already signed a record deal.
