I wish OLP did their MTV unplugged sessions. I believe it would be a big hit not just in Canada or US, but all over the world. They are truly one of a kind band ... Listening to this song gives me goose bumps:) OLP rules
omfg .. they are amazing this is deffinately one of my fav band .. other than red hot chilli peppers but they are an amazing band .. never sieze to amaze me incredible
Been a while since I watched this one, I somehow forgot how amazing it was. Thanks for uploading. :) Man, I miss those guys. They gotta get their butts on the road. ;) Oh and for those folks calling him "the guy in the white shirt", that's Joel Shearer. Check out his band Pedestrian, you won't regret it. (Googling for "Pedestrian music" turns up the correct results... they're the LA band on MySpace.)
Saw them at 9:30 Club in D.C on 08-17-09. Their music is just soooooo soooo unique. Raine Maida has got some one of a kind vocals too. He climbed up the stage upto the balcony and sang with some fans that stormed him there. That's what I think as (101% RAW Toronto) straight up.
@Geordieboy1990 Yeah if I'm not mistaken he toured with them for Healthy in Paranoid Times. I remember them having a second guitar when they did Edge Fest in Buffalo years back.
I think you mean far right still :P, from left to right it goes Steve Turner, Jeremy Tagart, Raine Maida, Duncan Coutts (that consists of OLP) and on the far right is the guitarist from the band Pedestrian I think his name is Joel Shearer.
@kennygmang.. What is your obsession with Raine's age.. Alot of older people are still singing and sounding good. Much, much older then Raine. I think alot of people have a hard time accepting the fact that Raine's style of singing has changed since the first OLP songs.. People get older, their voices change.. I still think there are alot of amazing OLP songs that came out in recent years..
Best era of his voice live, culmination of grungy naveed, and falsetto happiness, with maturity that hasnt worn off by time yet.
This comment is super spot on. Bravo.
This is the best Raine's voice has ever sounded live.
When I was twelve I wanted to feel like a badass so I stole a cd at random from the library. The album was clumsy. I have loved olp ever since.
How lucky!!!!
This song is a masterpiece !
he deserves more recognition!
Wow!! Soooo much emotion in this song played acoustic.

no words to say......simply awesome

Sweet. OLP is Canada's best band.

Awesome acoustic version. Much more soft than the normal.
It's this wonderful little haute couture invention called the T-shirt.
one of their best songs for sure!
OLP is 1 band I really want to see in concert

ya it's one of a kind
like i allready say i really fucking love this band!!!!!! our lady peace...the best!
Excellent choice of song.
most singers can't duplicate on stage what they do in the studio, raine's amazing. Anyone have any clue what kind of shirt he's got on?
I wasn't sure if i would like the acoustic version or not but i all most like it more
Raine is a master!
After seeing many live videos where Raine sounds like garbage, it's nice to see him nailing it for once.
His voice and singing style are unfortunately very clashing. You can see it that he had to readapt his techinics nowadays.
Muy bueno
agreed.
@Geordieboy1990 Yeah if I'm not mistaken he toured with them for Healthy in Paranoid Times. I remember them having a second guitar when they did Edge Fest in Buffalo years back.
same
It's kick ass that my uncle is friends with the guitarist in this band.
i agree with you 100%
Great !
@raineOLPmaida Joel Shearer. He played support on tour during this time.

Steve Turner? Think you got Steve Mazur and Mike Turner mixed up
@@SilentServiceCode you're right! silly me.
There's plenty of software that can rip it right from this video. I use sound recorder which I think I got on emule.
ignore that
i keep forgetting they bought him in
@godavari Raine loves climbing when he performs hahaha.
@raineOLPmaida that's what i've been trying to figure out for a long time....if u find out, let me know :)
:-)
yes you are correct haha, silly me
hes good and hott XD

@kennygmang Best era of his voice? I don't think so. 90's Raine was the shit, Naveed and Clumsy were fantastic albums

I kinda think the opposite, Gravity was repetitive every song ended with a drawn out chord lol. Healthy was alot better than gravity.
Ew... glad Raine doesn't wear that hat anymore...
