Wow that is awesome! Lol amazing. However as a carpet professional i say your using way way too much Awesome solution. Reason being is yeah its going to clean your carpet 1st and it will dry. But the soapy Awesome solution will attract dust and dirt and it will stick to carpet and won't vaccum up as easy with a regular vaccum. Don't get me wrong hon. I think its great, and you did a great job. Its that any type of cleaner you use it has to be measured out more hot water then solution meaning you want very little like 1/3 cup of Awesome not 1/2 large bottle. Because the more cleaner solution on that carpet will get it clean but it will also dirty faster and deeper into the fibers. Which you do not want. One thing is you always always want to clean your carpets with a solution a little bit of solution. Kinda like dishes you put only so much on the sink. You also want to rinse it like we do dishes. We do not want any solution to be sitting on the fibers of your carpets. Because solutions of any type is sticky. Soaps are stick if you don't rinse it off right? So when the solution drys on the fibers and you vaccum it will stick to fibers and soil your carpets more even worse then before. So to prevent that the next time you tackle it use less Awesome believe me it will clean just as good. Use hot hot water and make sure you pretreat stains just male a spray bottle of the same solution. Measure for the bottle too and use hot water. This will loosen the soils in the stains. Then shampoo carpets male sure you suck up the majority of wetness. Then go back and just use hot water alone. Suck up as much as possible to rinse your carpet. Of it where me id rinse twice. Then when it drys you will notice that it will vaccum up cleaner when you vaccume and it will not soil as fast. Ok great video. Thanks for sharing. Have a Awesome day. Lol
@@31acruz he's saying you only want to use 1/3 cup of solution for your entire rug. Measure out 1/3 cup of solution and mix it with hot water and fill up the shampooer. Then after all cleaning is done. Refill your shampooer with only hot water and rinse the carpet without the Awesome.

better to use 1/4 cup to gallon of water, apply as a pre spray, rake or agitate carpet , then in your machine use an all fiber rinse mixed with clean hot water to scrub snd extract the awesome out. by leaving the awesome you will resoil quickly in weeks due to soapy residue being left where as the all fiber rinse will neutralize out the soap.
Just ran out of carpet shampoo and dreading going to the store for some! I started looking up diy solutions and most people are recommending Awesome or some variation WITH awesome. I’m so excited to try. I’d rather take a quick trip to Dollar tree, than Target or Walmart. Thanks for this video!
Great tip. Damage control: snacks & juice are consumed in the kitchen only. Saves you hours & I mean hours of cleaning. And pens/crayons etc are kept in a cupboard & used only when you are around .
