Do Brasil e do mundo, acho que só o Metallica barra eles, pq o Sepultura não colocaram um som mais comercial e o Metallica fez isso e pegou todo tipo de público, publico do rock progressivo, pop rock, resumindo todos tipos de públicos e se toranaram mundialmente popular.
I saw their show many years ago during the Arise tour... Amazing! They were a top metal band. And still today their songs rock!

Never saw Sepultura with this line up but I did see them once with Derek Green on vocals instead of Max. They played this song and it's one of the rare times for me, as I'm not really the type, where I was up in the balcony section watching, said "F**k it!" Ran downstairs and ran straight into the Pit! I just have a memory of running with everyone in a circle with some tiny woman, who I didn't even know and still don't, on my back for a ride around the pit giving the metal horns. This song changes people. Makes them go crazy.
Seen them 6 times with Max on vocals, never bothered after he left. They just aren't the same with Greene on vocals.
@@andrewlaw I can see that. I do enjoy the post Max era but I wish they had changed the name. The music is pretty good but I think having Sepultura as the name instantly puts people off. But yeah, while not bad, when they play the Max era stuff it sounds, I don't want to say wrong, but off. Luckily the music still destroys so I was able to get pumped enough for the pit.

Do yourselves a favor, If Max and Iggor's "Return Beneath Arise" tour comes through your town go see them! The show was killer! Most of Beneath the Remains and Arise played live. Crowd was crazy the whole night.

I got a dubbed taped in 1991 that said slayer, seasons in the abyss. I listened to it for a while and knew it wasn't slayer. I basically learned all the beats and lyrics ( not knowing who it was) and learned 6 months later who it actually was. FUCKING AMAZING ALBUM!!! Loved em ever since.

I couldn't understand a word the singer was growling or vomiting (it wasn't really singing). I couldn't really hear any kind of melody either. It was like listening to a road crew blasting their jackhammers on a construction site for five minutes. I was just happy when it finally stopped. In this case, the sound of silence at the end was a welcome relief.
