The only time I’ve ever used my sliding rear window was to carry some 16 foot lumber. I built a wooden rack that strapped against the front wall of the bed. The rack had a horizontal member that was just higher than the bottom of the rear window. The lumber ran all the way through the cab, through the rear window, and was strapped down to the closed tailgate.

Awesome redesign, and great looking truck. Disappointed in the drivetrain, it looks like there is lots of either turbo lag or torque management when trying to move at a low speed with high load. I hope this can somehow be tuned out in the future.
I got stuck in the sand with my expedition,, last autumn in Utah monument valley,, the depth of the sand could be 7 inches, , same as here this video,, I couldn't get out even tried 4x4 every mode,, it seems this new 2024 tacobell easily overwhelm this sand beach,, wow,, man,, I am not quite sure the ranger raptor can do better because this tacobell doesn't equip with rear locker,, As u can see,, even without rear locker,, this sucker taco still able to dance out from deep sand,, very impressive,, I am in dilemma between taco pro and ranger raptor ??? I need to wait to see both hybrid model come out to compare MPG and off road performance,, then hunt down for one....

Love the color don't wrap this one. I do think your going to regret not getting the TRD offroad package since you do like to offroad and you have no locker or anything now.
I love the new tacoma but woulda liked to see a higher trim level but they are all nice on this new model. But the air dam gotta go. Its not worth its benefits, the look of the truck is 100% better without it

I keep saying the new mid size trucks the last few years were built the same size as full size trucks in the last few decades...and the Full Size got to be to big with many inconveniences to deal with....for me mid size meets my all around needs.
Most Toyota dealers here in the SF Bay Area are selling new Tacos at MSRP and no add ons. It ain’t like before where demand is crazy due to cheap finance.
I actually regretted buying the trd pro after getting to the point of almost upgrading suspension. Pro makes so much more sense if you’re keeping it the exact way you bought it
@@MarkBrenner Agree, love my 24 Tundra Pro and after fixing my prior 2016 Platinum to 2021 Plat/Pro basically, just wanted new truck that needed no work. New Pro is leaps better than 2nd gen that didn't even have power folding mirrors ...new pro basically has all prior Plat goodies and more with easier maintenance seats that are still badass. Staying stock for sure, just get better tires when oem falks wear out.

I use my rear sliding window daily. I'm one of those guys though that needs the window open 365 days a year, hot, or with the heater on.
