Waking up with frozen feet surely wasn't that nice, but the immense GRATEFULLNESS of knowing I get to return back the warmth and comfort of home is amazing.
All worth it. Strangely I was able to sleep for several hours, despite having very cold feet. My core temperature remained at safe levels.

❤👍🏻👏
Yeahget a cement mixer and bricks and build a house
I am surprised you didn't died buy sleeping in the coast your head must screaming inside out, sad reality is that you can't survive outside even with a tent you need to build s hidden base or a cabin
I always watch your videos as soon as you post them. Love your videos. Keep them reeling in !
I really admire you because you endure the cold so well, the video is very interesting, good luck
I always make sure that i watched your latest upload. I love watching the scenery from the other side of the world.
Im from the beautiful country of the 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Keep filming and I will be watching 🥰
Hello LUCAS ❤
This is a magical place in the snow ❄
Stay safe out there 🛶🔥❤
That lapis lazuli cloak is beautiful as always.✨
I fall in love every time I see it
5:20 I love the sound of stacking stones for some reason , they all fit in place too.
Fires are the best in cold.
Lots of rocks to shield from wind snd reflect stored heat too
I use Spruce bows for bedding , ahhh nice and soft and warm .
Atta go on your experience here
Love watching your videos, great channel.Greetings from Serbia ❤❤❤
Wao you are a warrior. First night was extreme.
Love the video! I always do though with my morning coffee, ty for sharing once again. @4:05 in the video beautiful sunset 😍 Much love 💙🇨🇦
Salam kenal mbak...aku Kadi Indonesia🇲🇨😊🙏
Always love watching your videos mate keep up the good work
Thanks Ian
The wife and I have been visiting this island for a few years now , it's great for 7 nights piece and quiet. Also very cheap as no hotel bill or restaurants, simply catch a few fish and pop them over the fire.
That was a awesome video. You are living a wonderful life.
I watching this video just for get it relax after full day working, this nature of sound make it feeling good for mee
I would get big long logs for the fire and also stack rocks around the fire for a back wall to deflect the heat to you.
Exactly and not camp on the rocks and near water
Some things I would do differently.
1. Sleeping next to water is much colder and there is much more moist as water is evaporating. Morning video with stones covered with ice proves this.
2. Sleeping next to the rock is also much colder unless the day was really sunny - rocks accumulate both heat and cold. Also, humid air will condensate on rocks.
There should be a lot of reindeer moss (reindeer lichen) in this forest. I would put dry reeds on top of it for extra insulation. I would do this around 30 meters from the lake. Water is a warmth killer.
I think that warm peaceful feeling is called hypothermia.
So long ng as it doesn't go to far, I think you'll keep make ng these awesome videos. Thank you!
Haha very funny mate, I am in brisbane on a "cold" 21 degree day and watching Lucas made me pull on a pair of socks!
I agree. The shelters could be better. The hatchet isn't needed for little things. I just stomp on branches. Gather up a huge pile. Gather all kindling. Grab huge logs. I'll put on my channel what I do because it's more of a trained survival tactic. Especially when it's cold. First things first
Thank you! Love the frequency of your uploads!!! ❤
So beautiful video. So relaxing to watch it. My best wishes my friend. Stay strong!

Good stuff brotha. I enjoyed the video, thank you.
Another great therapeutic video! Getting out of the ice cold water to eat steak, with a big knife, in a woollen blanket under a hand made shelter - my testosterone level went up by at least 13.8%. Ever thought of joining special forces? haha, stay safe mate.
I'm already in the special forces ;)
Chúc bạn một ngày vui vẻ .nhà đá đẹp quá❤
This isnt survival. The guy just went to sleep and managed not to freez until morning ))
It is a great video !
Your shelters never look rain proof why is that????
❤✨️❤ QUERIDO WIKIG vídeo maravilhoso aquece o coração.
Abraços belo🇧🇷
Trees- hold warmth, provide shelter, stop wind. Builds shelter right next to water on rock
It must be a great feeling waking up in the morning and setting your bed on fire. :)
Best wishes
Nice that we get a little beef cake!
Nice video 😊
Hello AgeofTheNorth ,
When Planning your Next Adventure maybe take some Time to Sharpen your Axe/Tomahawk as I thought Viking Axes were all Sharp , yours seems a little blunt , might make your life a little easier.
Just a suggestion , No Offence intended.
Stacking the rocks to make a wall and then covering the rocks with dead tree and lining the floor with dead tree would help keep you much warmer. Covering any open cracks and lots lots of the dead tree branches would be better.
Hello Age ❤❤
Impressive
Great video as always Lukas!
I just really need get up early tomorrow and here i am at 00:02 watching a random guy collecting reeds and moving rocks by a lake, wtf am i even doing?!
I love this RUclips
Your one tough nut, it’s one thing camping in a tent with blankets but what you do makes me feel like i should be doing so much more with my life and complain less about everything esp the cold weather. Thanks for the videos i really do enjoy watching, don’t like seeing you suffer though.
But swimming in this video made me think it was warm ahahhah. I know it wasn't just saying I seen it as warm
The axe is a waste of time all i need is knife and little saw . Good video 👍
This depends on the trees you work with, what you are doing, and what axe you are talking about. Limbing is much easier with an axe and in an environment author lives in (I assume this is somewhere in Finland or Sweden) there are lots of spruce trees. Limbing spruce trees is hard as limbs are rather flexible and there are lost of them on the whole length of the dead tree.
With good large axe (70 cm ~ 30 inch handle, 1kg head ~ 2.5 lb head) cutting wood is rather quick, if you've got a right technique.
Firing large logs is easier with axe as you can make chips on their surface to catch the fire.
Also, axe makes a great handle for carrying logs around :D
While I do agree that saw is more convenient in a lot of cases, good axe is a better all-round survival tool for someone who knows how to use it.
pro tip. when sleeping outdoors in the winter. Always make sure your boots are untied and socks are not to tight. Any restriction in blood flow will cause cold feet.
Good point
Thank you. Good to know
mans outhere risking frostbite for our entertainment right from the get go those fingers were bad

❤❤❤
I get a kick no sleeping bab and sleep out in the open but then you light a match to start your fire. I stop watching it after that😅
sheepskin is great to sleep on, it's like a heater. I'd get a bigger one if I were you.
cool video
Bring a kettle for hot drink. Being kind to yourself is nice for viewers to see. 😊
He is probably not alone
This just came up in my feed for some reason. I think it's a great shelter! It's better than nothing for sure. Can l ask what island is this in Finland? I'm Australian, but my mum is Latvian. This reminds me a little of Latvia. I just remember there not being much night time. And can l just say, shades of our Chris Hemsworth? 😊 l might just have to subscribe!
Halaand in camping 😅
Freshly cut reeds everywhere. Huh.
😊😊😊😊
Jaettu!
Godt dag ❤❤❤❤
Good day indeed!
Bonjour 👋 👋 👋
If I may, what camera are you using to record this video?

Saluti dell'Italia
🤝
I'm going to buy that knife
They wanted me to take an ice bath, I said no, no, no! 😅😅😅
Do those special forces you refer to include the renegade movement????
Where in Finland was this?
Is it better or worse so close to the shore than inland?
All done without a £1000 tent system. Hardy man.
🌺
your videos remind me of some of the videos of @BertramCraftAndWilderness, were you inspired by him?
Need to spend a little more time on the shelter to keep the wind, coldness, the wetness out, better the shelter is a big difference, I've camp out when I was much younger and had to rely on what was at my disposal to be comfortable as possible especially when it's freezing, snowing, windy, and a nice big fire makes all the difference, block the wind as best you can. I why don't you have a fire going at night, I would collect so much firewood to keep it going as long as possible thru the night and with those stones, which need to be careful cause wet ones could be an issue around the fire, I would block that fire with the stones to reflect the heat towards you and keep the wind off the fire as much as possible, In situations where your life depends on it have to do the best with what you have cause it can Go downhill quickly especially if you get wet, but great job at what you do and keep it up, keep the videos coming. !!!!
Water temperature is 0.5 inch
👍🏻
When was this filmed?
The noise of that water would want you no sleep there is forest there that you could of went in and you should of collected allot fire wood when it was dry to keep you warm the rules is what you can carry on wood do it again
