When it comes down to life or death that shelter really isn't doing much especially in freezing wind, need to block the sides, that wind can be a killer and I've noticed in your videos you let your fire die out thru the night, keep that thing going, gather lots of firewood, your burning your energy every morning by collect and cutting again, I'm cold just watching you
What is the point of having one wall up from the wind? I would have 3 walls! And a warm fire in front of it. It would keep the shelter warm. My opinion.

I wonder why you don’t use the green fern branches fist, then put the snow on top of that, plus put sides on the hut to give a warm place to sleep with no wind. Trying to learn.
