Mahalo Amanda and Felix for taking us from Hawaii to England! I think I'm gonna ditch the AirBNBs near the airport during my layovers to stay in a Premium Business class Lounge with Showers! And not sure how much Duck I would have shared with Nhi because it looked good😋 😂 Loved the upgraded room with the huge walk in bathroom closet. Glad you guys were able to get these luxuries for the universe does reward good people. 👍 I look forward to seeing your adventures in England and Scotland. Aloha🤙

Woo-hoo, finally on the honeymoon! Congrats and looking forward to seeing all your adventures! I remember eating the "full English" (breakfast) nearly everyday I was there, LOL! And yes, for those long flights you need to be comfortable. As I've gotten older I can no longer fly economy for flights over 8 hours...my body just can't take it. I haven't done the full first class yet, but I do fly business when I go to Australia or Japan. Anyway, so happy for you guys getting to England! 🙌🥰

My grandfather from way back in the EARLY 1600s came from lower London to the USA on a ship. Im part ENGLISH and part German and 2% Cameroon (west African). So far, so good! Looks like you had a great experience in the lounge and on the plane. As you were making your way to your room, I was actually thinking how easy it is nowadays - You don’t need a porter or bellman to take you and your luggage to your room because you can do it on your own, and you don’t need to tip anyone! Then I saw what REALLY happened! Looking forward to your honeymoon adventures in the UK!

We got to go to the UK last year for 18 days and had a blast. We were all over England. My husband’s best mate lived in Durham, so we hired a care and saw so much. I loved Bath and the Lake and Peak District. Stunning!!

I'm always interested in Chinatowns across the world. The aromatic duck looks very similar to smoked tea duck, which is served in the same way. It would be interesting to compare.
well, if you're gonna do a 14 hr. flight, business/first/lie-down seats are definitely the WAY TO GO yeah! i remember doing london to san francisco direct, 14 hrs. in economy plus over a decade ago and i swore i'd NEVER do that again lol.

p.s. yes, mayfair is the posh area of london. you are definitely in the heart of/walking distance to most of the sights (buckingham palace, st. james, pall mall, regent street, piccadilly circus, oxford street, to name a few) omg i am so jelly rn!

We come to the islands every year but my wife was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease. We'll be coming on July 4th and our regular "go to" places have to be changed because my wife can't eat gluten anymore. Do you guys have any recommendations for places that serve gluten free food. BTW, did you know Soy Sauce has gluten (I didn't until now).

Mayfair is so Ritzy that, on the UK (and Australian) version of Monopoly, it is the name of the property called Boardwalk in the USA.
Although, the actual Ritz hotel is in Piccadilly which is Marvin Gardens.

Did you eat the pho at Star Alliance lounge? Each time Yuji and I go, we eat their pho, pretty good! But i didn’t know there is that outdoor lounge 😅
It’s probably because we always take the 12AM flight to Taiwan, so at that time it would be too dark to enjoy outside.
