- LEGO just killed me in the newly revealed fairground set, the LEGO 10273 Haunted House.
Doesn't make to much sense right?! But I'm telling you guys, it's true and I'm gonna explain every little detail of it, including all of the set's Easter Eggs, amazing nods to LEGO sets of the past that will make fans cry for more of the sweet nostalgia factor LEGO has in each and one of us.

"WHAT THE FLAT TILE" after hearing that I couldn't stop laughing. With that sense of humor I believe you had tons of fun with your peers at LEGO. I'm sure the lego team approached your company and will miss ya ^w^
When I heard the reference to the Organ of Catarino, I was really looking forward to hearing the story behind that as it was obviously something to do with you! Very cool story and so fun! Not sure how you might feel about having your own LEGO tombstone ha! A great set to be your first post-designer purchase. It's not just the designers at LEGO that miss you, either, and I'm really glad to have a number of TC sets in my collection. And at least we still get some TC LEGO magic here on RUclips!

This is hilarious! I’ve always been into haunted houses & I think that particular set is really cool, I’ve been planning on getting it- but this knowledge now has moved it way further up on my list!

The Haunted House is my first LEGO set that I've done since I was a kid... I guess I threw myself into the deep end, but I did a "quick" build for a beginner and it took me 2 days and maybe a very late night. I love it!!!! My sisters sometimes come in and move the characters around so that it becomes even more gruesome.
Love the story behind the tombstone Easter egg!. My second build was Home Alone and my next purchase is going to be the Typewriter based on your recommendation (it was going to be the Globe, but I think I'll go the Typewriter... then the modular Boutique Hotel... THEN the Globe. haha).

I loved building the Haunted House and especially the pipe organ! It's an outstanding piece! Glad I finaly know where the initials on the tombstone stand for... I just saw your review on The Titanic buildingset and the Easteregg that Lego put in there.... Great! You must have made quite an impression!
Alpha Team has been one of my favorite themes since I was a child. How have I never noticed that Ogel is just Lego backwards..

After looking at old themes a bit recently I love spotting the references like the ice planet logo tile used in country building from lego club (pandomation) or the blacktron 2 logo in space police
I have to start paying more attention to detail when I'm building some of these sets!
When I got the lego hunted house I always wondered what the TC on the grave stood for and to find out that it was for you was awesome.
1:53 Haven't watched the whole video but omg, that's an old sphinx head build from the adventurers set in the late 90's! That was my absolute favorite theme as a kid! :)

Hi Tiago , Thanks for your videos and your work with Lego . My first Lego set was the 1978 Lego Auto Chassis , sadly I do not have that set today , I miss it !. However last year I got back into Lego and have a small collection , my latest purchase included your tombstone , I just need to mention you have been honored again , but sadly on a doomed vessel . The newest set , is the grand Titanic set # 10294 . I really hope this set is as great as it looks , however knowing you are being honored makes it that much more special . Take care, Dreamer
Holy cow I actually have the original set the Baron is from! So cool they would do a call back so many years later! Too bad I'm missing some of the original pieces from the set.

What a nice video and what a great gesture from your former colleagues. And now I finally know why your face looked so familiar. I saw your picture in the construction manual of the ship in a bottle. And now I also know what the stamp on the neck of the bottle means.
My favorite easter egg is the baseball cap in the roller coaster set 10261. On the box and the building instruction you can see it flying through the air. And then you put it between the struts of the roller coaster while building it.

I watched a video from another YTer showing the Haunted House. They mentioned the Organ by name. I immediately knew what that was referring to and had to see the designer video. It was great. I was curious what your opinion on it would be figuring you had no idea. Thanks for the video!

the way the tombstone is put is an iligal build
I built this set. The worst part are the roofs: lack of details, some randomly added (frogs), in any case roofs are also the weakest part of the building. The elevator shaft and mechanism is great, wonder if is not covered or hide somehow. The light is quite invisible looking at the closed set, so why put switch button on the facade? Anyway, I understand the lego policy to create much more details starting from 200€ set and above.

This be the first big set I will ever get because I like adventurers, and I am going to modify it to be the normal house of Baron von Baron, instead of an amusement park ride, and put my minifig of him in the set, but now I want to get the set even more because of the Easter eggs about you (I might even put my own portuguese flag when modifying it).
