Lori took being a narcissist to a whole new level bu claiming to be a 'chosen one'. She made excuses for all those murders that were actually done to benefit her and Chad financially.
Killing their spouses was bad enough but killing those two children is horrific on a whole other level. It is our base instinct to protect children, especially our own.
Her and Chad are truly monsters.

Your 100% right but it was Lori who manipulated Chad, not the other way around... everyone thinks she fell for his lies and fantasy but all the investigators in this case said it was the opposite and it was Lori who pulled all the strings. Chad did her bidding.

Lori chose her words very carefully. She wanted to get the message across that Jesus chose HER, not anyone else. She also referred to him as ‘my Jesus’ several times and it’s on brand because she often told people Jesus might love them but he would always her more. Shes trash.

@@Herewearenowentertainus She's a highly delusional narcissist. It's not surprising that she thinks the way she does. She was like this entire life even outside religion. She lived her life as if everything and everyone were put there to serve her wellbeing. Most people who grow up and behave this way get checked by their family and friends. Lori never got checked and just kept getting worse and worse with every passing day.

Narcissism to a "whole new level," as you wrote...unfortunately, you are so very right about that! It is truly surreal what that thing believes, about herself more than anything else. Someone else here in the comments described her speech as "infuriating" and I absolutely agree. However, as you were mentioning, her narcissism came through during her speech in a way that was a most vomitus-inducing experience for the listeners! I literally felt my stomach tighten and my appetite disappear as I heard that grotesque sow deliver her "I-am-the-messiah" speech in court! I sincerely hope she serves her time as a yoga mat for a lesbian prison gang!

Her ENTIRE speech of fiction was infuriating to listen to. However, I felt that the most disturbing part was when she said that Tammy was her friend and that they visited with each other regularly. Tammy had never even met Lori. Lori committed adultery with Tammy’s husband, conspired to kill Tammy while she was still married to Chad, and married Chad just two weeks after Tammy was killed. Tammy was everything that Lori was not; a great wife, mother, friend, daughter, sister, etc. etc. etc. Lori could NEVER be what Tammy was in eternal lives!!! I felt for Tammy’s family when Lori was talking about her! I hope that Lori has a miserable existence for the rest of her life!!!

When she said that when vacationing in heaven at Tylee's birth "I thought my children would be fine w/o me" boy was she right. I doubt she was smart enough to even see the irony of that statement. At what point does a delusion break down? And is it really a delusion if the person can simultaneously use it to further their selfish plans? I'm not sure this sociopath is really that delusional. Rather, she seems to have a history of lying and justifying everything she does w/pure bs. Her speech was revolting, of course, but does she really believe any of it?

Her attorney interrupted other victim statements but everyone had to listen to her unhinged diatribe of absolute garbage. Ideally someone would have called her out during her verbal spewage, alas no, unfortunately for everyone’s ears especially the victims families in court. The _narcissism per word ratio_ is really quite something. Monumental levels of selfishness and utterly devoid of empathy, insight or remorse.
While I think she truly believes her religious fantasies are real on some level, I also think she wanted to be free of her past, her family, and wanted a clean break and a new life, and the murders were her method to achieve this while the zombie stories are her method to rationalise it. There is no definitive boundary between belief and a lie. The two states can cross over and blend together.

They had an extremely close relationship and I would think she would have mentioned him considering this particular type of delusion. Whether she was involved in Alex's death is a matter of conjecture as there's no proof that there was any foul play involved. You would think that he'd be busy tending to his niece and nephew and hanging out with Tami and/or resting in the arms of Jesus but she doesn't bring him up at all. (I also find it interesting that all these people are "busy" - what does that even mean?)

Glad you've covered this. Hyperreligiosity with Narcissistic features is a form of personality disorder and not delusional Schizophrenia. Lori committed these killings not because she was having fits of active hallucinatory delusion but to get what she wanted in her life. She knew what she did were morally and legally wrong - the great length she went to and the manipulations she took up just shows the knowledge of her guilt, the guilt that's pushed aside none the less. So many RUclipsrs have no clue about the difference between Schizophrenic delusions and self-justifications and lie that a grandiose Narcissist weaves to delude herself. Lori is just in denial of her feelings of entitlement that compelled her to eliminate obstacles in order to achieve the lifestyle she wanted, because she knows deep inside that her true motivations are less than wholesome, let alone spiritual. BTW now that her sister Summer seems to have fallen back to the default state that this family( Summer and Lori's mum) loves to be in, blaming what Lori has been found guilty of, to the 'illness', now that it is named by the judge. I reckon the mum's absence throughout this court case was a result of her embarrassment, rather than her feeling of crushing guilt. Typical of this Narcissistic family.

I saw a video that shared that her family never heard this new stuff before, no dying giving childbirth. She scripted a little show for her statement. It might have been to torture the families, try to get the judge to commit her, or just to get attention, She did get attention, all negative. I heard what the state prison is like that she was sent to. ITS really bad, very bad. Many women go crazy there for real. And being a child killer, she's going to have a very rough time.

It just so happened that the million dollar life insurance beneficiary was changed and she got caught for her crimes, but she did all the best she could to get away with it and live her very best life. That, to me, is narcissism and greed many measures beyond the possible existence of any mental health delusions she may hold. Her speech patterns for the statement are very simplistic-- somewhat juvenile and her reading from the Bible also elementary. I found her recitation from the Bible simplifying everything with no blame for herself revolting. I just wonder did people give her a free pass all these years? She seemed to attatch herself to people rather than philosophies....

The angel Moroni (or Moron I) will break her out of prison, teleport her to the planet Kolob where she can take command of her 144,000 Missionary-Warriors on white horses, and then invade the world from her command post in Salt Lake City , Utah. We will then be converted to Vallow-Mormonism where we can live happily ever after listening to Lori Vallow sermons on RUclips. Those who refuse to convert will be sent to Dr. Grande's office in Provo, Utah (Grande converted after being kissed by Lori Vallow) for reprogramming .

According to what we've learned from members of their culty group and other LDS folk, those who claim NDEs and those who claim they have Jesus on speed dial are respected and admired more than others. That was Julie Rowe's schtick as well as Chad's. So I think she made up that crap to appeal to potential followers through national TV. I expect her to get tons of correspondence from whackos who buy that BS.
