    I've watched dozens of videos on air frying Rib Eyes in my Ninja. I kept coming back to yours. Tried it last week and it was the most flavorful, juicy, and TENDER steak I've made inside my
    home. Tried it again last night with some
    nice Costco ribeyes and my husband said they were better than Texas Roadhouse.
    I don't know why this video doesn't have more views. It's AMAZING. One million thanks for this recipe!

      Thank you for supporting us. I also though it should be doing better the steak came out very tender and perfectly cooked. But it is what it is, with thoughtful comments and support like yours it's not the quantity but quality of viewers and we appreciate it very much. Thank you🙏😀

    I normally bbq all my steaks, but my daughter in-law bought us a ninja foodie. I decided to search the internet for a recipe, thank god I came across your channel because I followed your cooking instructions on cooking our rib eye. It was the best tasting rib eye I have ever cooked, thank you very much for your recipe.

    Did you flip the steak while you had it on the rack for 6 minutes?

    • @YourEverydayJoe
      @YourEverydayJoe  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for the question Veronica, I did not flip the steak. After searing it, I use the air fryer to just finish the cooking and bring the meat to the preferred temp.😎👍

    other than the EXCESSIVE salt usage, which can be cut down, i thought this video was the best i've seen so far and i can't wait to ry it out tomorrow night. i had to laugh though hwen he said "some healhy stuff" though when he had added so much salt. i know that you have to add salt to the steak, but seriously not that much. it made my lips wrinkle up just wathing him put it on. it ws like he was trying to cure a ham. you have to remember that salt is NOT a seasoning. it is a mineral. it does NOT continously add flavor as it cooks, like bay leaf, thyme, etc.. it is a levening agent, and helps to bring out other flavors ie chocolate & caramel and in this case will help with a sear. keeping in the juices. But it does have the effect of drawing out juices if too much is used. a little goes a long way, and for flavoring should just be left on the table for guests to add as they see fit.

    You had believing until your steak came out looking burnt and medium well and dry instead of medium rare hence the extra butter and oil....I'm having doubts on unboxing my Ninja.

    When you have to use thermometer to see how the steak is cooked, you are not a cook.
