Unbelievably great! I've been listening to Jake for a few years and didn't know he played or even knew Blake Mills, my favorite guitar player. Good to see Blake get out and do live shows.
I Love The Sound Of Breaking Glass brings out some of my favorite elements of both of their styles. Absolutely gorgeous. Amazing collab. Thanks for posting!
I know right! Sitting in the front row was an incredible experience. I only wish Blake played more live music in this style (not knocking his recent stuff tho)
Holy shit this rules so hard. Been a Blake fans for years and just heard of Jake here.. definitely gonna listen to more of his stuff. That Riff at 14:05 is Blake plays is why he is such a unique and talented player and songwriter.
Jesus - I have no knowledge of traditional American music, no real interest either...... but I watched this from start to finish totally engrossed. It's so captivating.......
All of us musicians should take note of how much Blake Mills waits, listens, and adds his beautiful accompaniment at the right moment. Life lesson there.
Need this man to make a trip down under to Aus. Absolutely love his music

Best guitar duo I ever heard, so happy I got to hear it live

Couldn't agree more. Jake is great, only just heard about him too as soon as Blake posted on his IG about playing with him in LA
@@Makxbi thanks for posting! I’ve discovered so many talented artists through the “Blake” sphere of musicians he plays with. Amos Lee to name another…
@@grosebud4554 Same! Haven’t heard of Amos though, I’ll have to check them out.
wow...thank you so much for uploading this
You’re welcome!
thank you!!! I've been looking for a recording every day since this happened
Please come to Houston!

Wow the Nick Lowe song was a surprise!
10:15 My God, the dude just decides to play the bass line with his tuner lol
Blake Mills plays with all my favourites: Jake, Fiona, Jesca and Blake. Thanks Blake!
This is so great - thanks for sharing. Wish Blake was more prominent in the mix when he’s soloing - these two sound fantastic together

The fourth song is 'Feeing Day' and I imagine this was about the time that they were recording the album version that Jake just put out.
Wow you’re right! So glad I caught this new song early. I’m partial to Blake’s playing on this over the album but both sound great.
Greatest duo of all time
I like Jake and Blake , and will make my self a fretlessguiter with Sustainer ...
Never seen Mills play a fretless guitar before. Interesting sound and technique, clearly augmented by effects, but in a nondisruptive way.
Georgia in Los Angeles.

This moment lives in my head rent free
Any way to get better audio for this?
I’m no audio expert but there’s probably something you can do if you take it into a DAW program and play with the frequencies in an equalizer a bit.
On it.
