Smilin ear to ear! These guys are the best band I've heard in decades. 70 years old here.
72 here. I agree. Bands like Goose, Rober Jon & The Wreck, and Greta Van Fleet might save music from the cesspool it’s sunk into.
i like goose but they are not the best band out there... i live in europe and i find it funny how americans look at everything... you tell them "that band is the best" and they follow like sheeps. ..after the Grateful Dead (classic rock + improvisation) and Phish (Zappa + improvisation), they are not saying anything new in jam bands scene... for me the bands that have really said new things in these years are those that put elements of electronic music (The Disco Biscuits) or elements of Bluegrass music (Leftover Salmon) into the "jam context". I'm surprised Trey Anastasio endorsed them
65 here. They're exclusively playing while I'm in the car. Goose, TAB and TTB...as good as it gets
As a rhythmically challenged white man I am thankful for bands like Goose that get me off my ass and moving my 65 year old legs, lol!
This was my first goose show, and I have to say I was quite dissaopinted and let down after hearing all the hype. The first set was decent and had some great moments but the second set I was let down, the whole crowd seem deflated and not much energy within the crowd at all. They are very talented musicians id say but it just seemed....idk, generic maybe? that being said I had a good time and would definitely give them another chanvce.
The couple who kiss in the little beam of light off to the left just after 27:00 - what a perfect little serendipitous shot! That jam was bringing out all the best vibes that night!
This was the best jam I've ever seen live by any band.
I've seen many, many shows in my day. These guys are as good as it gets.
Wow! The mix on this is a different one! The bass really comes through. Love it.
Thought the same
I hope it's the new standard...different sound guy?
The Tweak army will be pleased
@@dskrpncs recording and FOH mix are different, this all gets processed separately than what the audience hears (hopefully….. unlike Gary from Phish who was mixing for the stream and live at the same time which is a bad idea).
Something has certainly changed in 2023. Someone cranked that bass knob and I’m here for it!!!
My God!! Trevor's bass tone is getting bigger than life. Not sure if they got a new sound engineer or if the guy just learned how to bring the bass to the front. Trevor for President!!!
Yeeeeah!! I hear it too. Sounding great.
This weekend was the second time I've seen you boys live, and you've quickly become my favorite current touring band. Music is excellent, everything was super tight and funky, and the light situation this tour just elevates everything to another level. Thanks for a hell of a weekend in Chicago!!
It's one thing to do a 32 minute jam. It's another to do it without a single dull moment. JOTY #1 seed contender right here.
dull is subjective.....it is not 32 min great jam for all
2 full days of bliss and full on pandemonium !! The jams were so tight and just one crescendo after another .. I never wanted to leave !! These guys are the real deal...
Around 23 minutes I started weeping out of joy. Legendary.
This is one of the finest pieces of music I have had the pleasure of enjoying. The entire show was outstanding, even for Goose's high standards. ❤❤❤
They just released this whole show in I tunes.
They're like a mountain-hippy-festival -jam band playing on a log cabin stage next to a river, blue skies, micro-brews, VWs, Kush...Life is GOOD!
Wow they were really in an organic flow together here, beautiful emotional music, everything hanging out!
I'm going to my first Goose show tomorrow night after 32 Phish shows. They sound very much like Phish to me. But hey, I can see them in a small venue so it reminds me of seeing Phish 30 years ago. The playing on this around the 25 minute mark reminds me of Phish doing Reba.
Bass player is the MVP
Can't believe I'm only halfway through this and it's already nuts. So good.
I can only hit the like button once?
Trevor is so stinking good. It’s a pleasure listening to his bass lines.
Goose is a well-needed infusion into the Jam scene! Good medicine for the rhythmically challenged! See you guys at the Orebolo show in Vail this June and again at Red Rocks in September…
The sound quality is AMAZING here. Thanks for this, guys :)
Seeing Goose for the first time at the Electric Forest this Sunday! They rock!
Think of when they debuted this song and all the first times played compared to this shit right here. They literally don't stop taking everything into the stratosphere and after it hits full form, reinventing it completely. Aside from that these guys are doing brand new things in general.. I can't keep up and I fuckin love it
The boys keep throwing these Ted Tapes jams out there...keeps me wondering if we're due for another one...
This is from their album Dripfield.
@@jongray4828 The jams in some of their songs have been very Teds Tapes like lately...ambient, spacey, etc.
Thanks for making the sacrifices to do what you do. So much talent. So much emotion. So many challenges to keep it all together and make it all worthwhile. It is time.
I've been listening to Goose since 2018 and the amount of growth I have seen since then has been nothing short of incredible. These videos are insanity and they just keep getting better. Absolute legends!!
Have probably listened to this 100 times by now. Insane, gotta see these guys asap
This song just hits different live...love it!
Happy to say I'm officially sold on Goose. What a show!
Got tickets to see Goose at Hulaween this year. To say I am “excited” is an understatement! Let’s goooooo GOOOOOOOOOSSSSSEEEEE!!!!
Have you been to Hulaween before? It’s amazing! 🤩
@@michaelmuncy8623 went to Spirit of Suwannee a few weeks ago for Resonate and had an amazing time. This year will be my first Hula though!
2 killer sets. So tight, killer sound and production. The real deal 🔥🔥🔥
this was truly a delight to see in person. what a show 🪿
Can’t wait till this weekend! They are on fire!
16:05 I wonder if Rick knows he is channeling Miami Piper. I love it whether he does or not.
this is the best Goose I've heard
Glad to see you cut your bangs Rick. Momma would be proud! This jam rocks as always and looking forward to seeing you at the Woodlands in Houston someday soon!
wtf goose. 15:30 had me tossin’ silverware across my kitchen! this is mayhem!
I took my shirt of in my car around 15:45

Nice to hear the bass so clearly
Wish i could like this video 100 times!
Very nice. Cant wait to hear a live version one day .
SHAZAM ! this is totally AWESOME love that BASS but I'm a BASS player hey these guys are in shape physically to jam that long
Tweekz out there killing it. '
Discovered this band very recently. Wow
0:00 Hungersite - Goose, From the 4/14/23 Show at The Salt Shed in Chicago, IL. Apparently
Finally the keys player starting to jam on a level i can respect...knew it was just a matter of time...!!!
Shit actually brought a tear to my eye. Truly grandiose and fun at the same damn time
So excited goose is coming to Mississippi at cathead jam. Can’t wait!!!!
This song makes me so happy
Nice to hear more bass sound ! Keep it up !
tons of love and respect from calcutta, india
❤We are all Goose ❤
always a great time for a perfect Hungersite!
More of this please
That was the best hungersite I’ve ever seen
Phenomenal musical JAM..!!!!!
The bass in this mix sounds a bit more polyphonic like a late 80s Lesh. These guys are for real. Rythym section is freaking next level.
Can’t wait to see them in CO!!!
Goose is Love!
Let’s gooo! ⚡️
Incredible
Trevor shines on this one!
Absolutely best version of this tune.
AWE!
New fan here.... Omg
Absolute Ripper Dudes!!💯👍✅️
WOW ♥️
this ends up in such a majestic place. Rick was just shredding that, damn.
This is jawdropping
The dankness !!!
Heard there’s a rather Large Dripfield inside the Paramount. 6 more sleeps.
Almost! 16min vs 22min - I’d say that 45 min echo made up for it 😅
LOVE IT ALL GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE !! nEED TO get me SOME MERCH
Holy moly. 😩🤤
How does this not have 10 million views
Freaking magic
🐐
WOW you guys were at salt shed 2 weeks ago??
I would of really like to see this show
Me too!!!!
Peter and Trevor are definitely my favorite characters in this story.
Legit!
Wow.
Wow...all I got.
This is the loudest I have ever heard trevor in the mix
This could be the greatest piece of art ever composed or created by humans or machines of all time.
lol
Rick and the boys just sending it...
Ok, I'm not crazy! At 13:40 Trevor is 100% teasing Ghostbusters Rap.
Wow
I feel like we don't deserve this.
Is it me, or is Peter's jam from like 7:00-12:00 mixed way down? I've noticed this happens quite a lot. Seems like it happens with the keyboard that's in that position (electric piano?)...cuz when he plays the organ or clavinette, it's fine.
29:48 How does Lucas keep jumping for that long????? I wish I has his stamina lol
I really wish jessica, would be my friend again. I miss her dearly
Just out of overpowering curiosity, what's that device mounted on the mic stand?????
It's a Klang Kontroller, used to mix the sound for their in ear monitors. Each member of the band has one so they can tune their own mix instead of signaling to the soundboard.
@@metonymic896 Thanks!
More Trevor!
Moby and/or No Quarter tease around 22-23 minutes?
I unliked so I could like again
What beautiful ❤️ moments* utube DEDICATION JOHN BAVAS
🪿🪿🪿🪿🪿
so is Hungersite just an uptempo Silver Rising LOL
For the commenters that are comparing Goose to Phish, c'mon. Goose has resolved some major problems that Phish has and those are repetitiveness, glibness and unnecessary dumb lyrics that pose as clever. No need for that with Goose; you are on and they don't let go thereafter, no ackward pauses and silly tangential takeoffs that ruin jams. Yes, Phish gets it right about two-three times a night, but with Goose it's right all the way. They may be millennials but they are the real deal.
