    That's exactly right people! So true what Dan says here. It's not about big, flash, expensive studios (although it's great to have all that gear at your disposal). It's just about writing/arranging GOOD SONGS! John Mayer said it at his Berklee Clinic in '09. He said: "...Good Songs. That's it. Just good songs."
    This is what makes them an artist. Their ability to articulate. Talent is what it is.

    I find it interesting how they comment that it's strange for a band to take three years between albums. Considering Blakroc, Brothers, and El Camino came out within one year of each other yet Turn Blue was three years after El Camino.
