This is probably the most talkative interview I've seen Dan do in a while. I'm glad he's finally in a better place mentally and I'm really liking the new album!
have you seen him on the Joe rogan podcast? lol
Wil I saw a few clips of it
+Dominic Pontrelli dude watch the whole thing, it's awesome
"were just taking a break, a little vacation"
GOOD. cant wait to see some new black keys stuff
apparently Pat is working with Jack White's ex-wife Karen Elson!! I love collaborations ✌️
He has the most calming talking voice
it looks like they switched clothes for the interview
Dan is growing a fan base that could care less or never heard of the Black Keys. I saw him with John Prine what a show!!! Yea he earned some fans most of the audience was asking who he was and he knocked them out!!
He's such a lovely person!
The album is too country for me but I respect Dan as a musician and producer - good for him.
Mags M you're the only person I've seen that didn't like the album, but didn't also trash Dan for making it. You're the type of person this world needs
Seems like a grounded dude and the kind you wouldn't mind grabbing a few brews with
One day I will get to work with him. One day. So inspiring
when dan is wearing suit coat and the interviewer is wearing a leather jacket....awk
Flashbulb Memory interviewer was like, I wanna be cool like Dan 😎
I actually didn't notice that until you pointed it out.
0:48 Cage the Elephants guitarist !
The Black Keys are NOT a "garage act" good sir....
i believe he's referring to "garage rock", which they used to be, but i cant say i think they are anymore. too strong a focus on production. not a bad thing, but less garage cred
There older was literally the definition of "Garage"
They recorded their first album i in a basement, so i guess you can call it a basement act..
yes they are
I love King of a One Horse Town.I should listen to more of his music....heard him first in Starbucks.
Cool!
❤❤❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Is Dan acknowledging that Musicians have serious issues
Dan well you got some great ones before they are done. I will request you work with Tom Petty and John Hiatt. if really inclined give Huey Lewis/ Nick Lowe a try. Sorry you just missed Tom Dowd Billy Sherrill and Phil Spector. Now be a step ahead of Jack W and Rubin and lord knows Tbone B wants them all including Dylan so keep being the Tarantino of rock.
Wonder what he pays the session players?!?!
first
Shine on me is terrible and a huge rip off of George Harrison's What is life.
Hahahaha. Uhm, nope not at all.
