I loveeeeee my brown eyes but to make them stand out even more I find that the best colours are purple and blue! They look so much more clear and beautiful when I use those colours! Try purple or blue eye shadow or eyeliner to do the trick :)

I feel your pain girls. Sometimes I swear my eyes look pure black! But the colour eye shadows I wear completely change the colour and tones of my eyes!!
Yeah when I don't wear any eye-shadow it looks black but then when I wear eye-shadow it looks dark black brown but still no one notices even in the suns rays
Barfey101902 I have very dark brown eyes and I find wearing a super dark black, matte eyeliner REALLY makes the eye color pop! Sephora 12hr long-lasting liquid eyeliner is the darkest matte black I've found, I love it! Hard to find a matte liquid. Revlon skinny liner is also very similar. I wore it yesterday and took pics and noticed how my eyes stood out!
Barfey101902 Very dark eyes are still pretty! I get compliments on mine. People say they look mysterious :) Try my tip in my comment above though. A very dark matte black liner will make your eye color look lighter because it is next to a TRUE black, so it's like "THIS is black. see, my eyes are brown." lol.

beautiful! i've been loving the no eyeliner look lately. the older i get the more i go toward natural looks. even for hooded eyes just wearing falsies makes my lashes seem more visible than if i was to have on black eye liner. the colors on your lids are stunning.

I wish you also factored in your skin tone with brown eyes. I have brown eyes but a lighter skin tone and gold or any yellow undertone shadows look horrible on me. Whereas cool grays and silvers look amazing. Plain brown eyeshadow also does not make my eyes pop, shadows with mauve undertones, and contrasting blues or greens will. Just my two cents for ladies who have cooler skin tones like me.
+Heather McCaulley I agree with you. I don't think warm tones make brown eyes pop. I think warm tones can look very good on brown eyes but I don't think they necessarily make them pop. I think they stand out more with navy, or purple, like you mentioned.
irish skin here black eyes and blonde hair so difficult to find the right colours

I just did this look, just with a bit more intensity on the corners to enhance eye color, and OMG, it is such a gorgeous look 😍 I'll be rocking this look for new year's from my couch watching the countdown!

Those really pretty reddish browns also look beautiful on green eyes & especially hazels like mine cause they bring out those flecks of gold & brown...also mauves, purples, plums, maroon, burguny are great, & u can always use greens!
