I love your demonstrations. One doesn't stop being glamorous because of the years. For me putting on makeup is a form of therapy, beats depression and make me feel better. I never knew how to apply it properly and I am learning with you a bit every day. Thank you
I discovered a similar trick accidentally just recently...didnt have my glasses on (60, cant seem to do anything without them now), picked out an eye pencil, started to apply it, only to realise it was a 'horrible' brown lip liner Ive never used. It went on so smoothly, then blended beautifully...so Ive stuck with it! I always enjoy your videos so much@
Lovely makeup 💄 I've always worn makeup & worked in drug store makeup department. This year I will turn 70 & for the first time I'm having a hard time. I really like your look. Thank you 😊
Thank you, Nikol. I appreciate targeting older women for your tips, however I really appreciate your positivity, and common sense as you speak to us. When you said, "..you don't have to feel like you're doing something wrong..." : it's a message of reality and encouragement.
One of the things I love about the liner! Imagine going on a weekend trip and packing you BB Cream eyeliner, mascara and lipstick (I'd as dd brightening stick) as your total cosmetic load. What a win. Two liners and you have two looks. Nikol, you rule,.❤😊❤
Recently purchased your Volume up mascara and I have to say that in my 75 yrs it’s the best I’ve used! Love your products Nikol, lipsticks amazing, eye primer works great, everything I’ve purchased including the plum eyeliner has been magnificent! Making another order today! Thanks!
I'm 66 years old, and I have been playing with makeup since I was 11. LOVE to have fun with it. Today, my complexion wants different colors, and different textures than when I was in my 40's. Of course, none of the colors that worked for me in my 20's are in my palette now :) Also, I am braver now that I have ever been. I live in New England (aka Conservative Fashion Region.) I have an arsenal of crazy glitter eyeshadows that I use daily ( I should have been born in the South.) Skin creams with mica for some "glowing" effects. AND I am living my lifelong dream of being a redhead!! Why not? Your videos are wonderful, you give me "permission" to keep playing and keep experimenting! Thanks so much for all your research and for posting all your videos!
As a true redhead, almost 60 yrs old, I've realized that deep colour and pigment are not helping make me look youthful. In fact, the deeper the colour, the older i look. Ugh. . I've reverted to soft pinks, and almost nude rose shades, and very natural eye shadow/eye liner tones. A little touch of nude lipstick and voila.
I’m a natural redhead but these days my color comes courtesy of my hairdresser…I will be 72 next week. I am now living my best life and I love my makeup! I too began playing with makeup at age 11, but I didn’t really realize the power of makeup until one of my friends put mascara on me….. when I went home my mother went ballistic! I now wear sparkly eyeshadow on a daily basis! Luckily it still looks good on me…but the bottom line is that I really don’t care what anybody thinks: I please myself, and that’s enough.
Thank for this tip Nikol, I'm 58 and have tried all sorts to get a soft natural look that's quick and easy. I tried this out and wow, wow, this is my go to eye makeup regime from not on. Your tips are very easy to replicate.❤ thank you
Hi Nikol! I’m so glad I found your channel. I just love the positivity you are putting out in the world for women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond! Requests…Please do a self tanner video…it can be so difficult to work with when it starts grabbing dry skin and discoloration. Also, I’d love to see more style videos and wellness videos. Thank you for being you!!
Hello Njkol, I just purchased your new eyeliner pencil in dark chocolate and I love it! I am 73 and have been a make up and skincare junky from very expensive to least expensive. Your pencil has great staying power and is everything you said it would be. This pencil makes applying eyeliner so easy so that I can apply it all the different ways that you demonstrate. I very much enjoy your videos. You are so relatable and a beautiful, classy woman. I just started facial cupping, thank you for that info. Next, I am going to purchase the frownies, such fun. Linda from Las Vegas ❣
First of all what a beautiful woman you are!! Love all of the 50 and up tutorial. Just great ideas that don't take forever and easy also. I appreciate what you are doing! Thank you!
Years…ago before eye primers were a thing this is how I used to get eye shadow to stay put. Eye liner as a base and eye shadow over it. I love that you know all of these great tips
Thank you Nikol. I've just turned 56 and I've had my liner tattooed on for years and 2 years ago now I had my hooded Eyelids removed. My Tattooed liner was lifted and now looks exactly how you've done you liner here. I'm very happy with the results of my surgery and with how my liner looks too as it's subtle enough to make my lashes fuller when I have makeup on.
Thank you. I really look forward to your videos so much. I am seventy-one, and your videos have helped me so much. I am so shocked when I realize how depressed I am and how bad I look. We sold our home & moved here in July. My son and his wife wanted us to be near them. Neither of them have siblings since she lost her brother. My husband has prostate cancer, and I have severe spinal problems. My daughter-in-law lost her grandmother, Dad, and brother during the last year, & our grandsons no longer live at home. We both lost our folks in 2005. My husband has prostate cancer, and I have severe back problems. My daughter-in-law quit work during COVID & lost 3 family members. She was a CEO of several hospitals and had an active career but the stress got to her. My son like me, is law-enforcement and has a good career. She was recently diagnosed with endometrial cancer which has spread to her stomach. She is very hurt & angry, and her anger is primarily directed at me. She constantly criticizes everything I try to do. My husband says we need to back off and just be there for our son and the boys. He says, the cancer hasn't changed anything. It's been almost thirty years and she has never appreciated anything we have done for them and has always been manipulative. Since July, we have given them about twenty thousand dollars for co-pays and medical bills because it breaks my heart to see Eric so worried and trying so hard. He is our only child. I don't want him pulling double shifts. She should know how stressful this is. I was so careful with my employees about overtime because of the stress. It is unbelievable the stress officers go through everyday not counting the stress at home. Her mother is quit her job and is staying with them to take her for the radiation treatments. However; she is so demanding. We've tried to prepare meals, shop, clean, run errands, and handle maintenance around their household but nothing I do pleases her. I also have rheumatoid arthritis so I can't stand up for long periods of time. Her mom is a nurse, and tries so hard. She doesn't have the money to help them financially because Lpns don't make much., They also are in a horrible HMO. I worry because this is an awful situation but if we work together it's not impossible. We don't have a lot of money, but through the years we have saved and continued to save during retirement. We have always been careful with our money. We live comfortably. She made reservations at the most expensive restaurant in the area for Christmas but cancelled not because of the expense or I had volunteered to cook but because our youngest grandson volunteered cooking as his Christmas present to everyone. I worked for a couple of days trying to ensure New Year's dinner would be good. She complimented my husband and commented she knew he did most of the work. She will not apply for disability although it would help financially so much. At our age, I worry about our health and know we can't afford outside help for us. We have been married for Fifty-three years, and I keep thinking this is an awful nightmare. Surely I will wake up soon. She doesn't let our son or her mother talk to her doctors or be a part of the conversations with her treatment team. He shares with us what he knows but it would be so much easier if she didn't harbor so much resentment toward me and be honest. I can handle being hated just don't pretend you are a victim, and I am the big bad wolf. I am so lucky that we are close to our grandsons. They are so wonderful to both my husband and me. V I am so sorry about rambling on and on. You are so gorgeous and I appreciate your videos and uplifting spirit. I wanted to thank you again for your videos and positive attitude. I want to apologize for venting about my troubles. God bless both you and your momma. I miss mine so much. Cherish every moment.
Your hair is GORGEOUS, doesn't look at all dirty. I had to start wearing eyeliner because mascara has started bothering my eyes no matter what brand I've tried. I do use eye shadow for liner though with a brush as I find the liquid ones are like plastic and difficult to remove from 69 year old eyelids. Thank you for this video.
Looks good. Will try it. I often just put a little brown on the outer corner of my eyelid and blend it. My granddaughters said, "your eye makeup looks good" ❤
I switched to non-waterproof eye products because my lashes were thinning and got milia on lids. I also take two or three B1 and B6 vitamins everyday. It also stopped hair falling out. Altho Id LOVE to try your products…
I recently purchased your eyelid primer & just peachy color corrector. Both are working great for my skin tone in hiding the redness, those veins and dark circles. I also got the banana brightening powder, but I am not exactly sure how to use it effectively. Your line seems very quality oriented and I plan to try a few more.
Your eyeliner pencil looks very creamy, and easy to use. I love the lipstick color you chose! I use lipstick as blush daily, and it works very well for me. Another great video. Thanks Nikol, you look beautiful, as always.
@@NikolJohnson Yes, just arrived last week. I bought my mom the gray brow pencil and she’s delighted as well because she’s been looking for a pencil that will work with her silver hair. I am waiting for your BB cream to come in because I’m out! 😅
I am o glad I found your channel. I am a 1 year post chemo radiation and just feel like I aged 10 years. I do want to have a healthy look but just don"t want to spend and hour in front of the mirror. You make it look so effortless. Do you have a beginners video? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!! Also do you have any beauty line for women of color?
I just discovered your channel today and I am really happy. I love your eye make-up trick. It is totally my style since I don't like to stay in front of a mirror for too long, I did it enough when I was much younger. Now I lime fast and efficient tricks, so I would be very happy if you could present us with a fast everyday make-up, with the less products possible, no make-up product over another make-up product, you know, something very simple. I am certain that many women would like it too because it would mean not to have to buy so many products that finally end up not being used and go to the trash can. That represents a lot of money that could be put to better use. Thank you Nicol
This lady is my spirit animal. Ive been using eyeliners like this for years. Never been talented enough to do all the eyeshadow looks. I said, "ScRw it!" Im going to keep doing what has worked for me. And YES! Mechanical eye pencils are the worst to try and use, especially like this. Lol, thank you for this. Ill keep on, keeping on
I am younger than the age demographic you spoke about but I am the worst with eye make up. So this trick is great for those that may be younger but just have no skill set with makeup. Thanks! ❤ Edit to add: I love how you encourage multi use with products, you seem genuine in not the doing hard sell like so many influencers are.
Same here! I'm 40 but even back in my 20s I have never been that great at makeup no matter how hard I try LOL everytime I try to do a winged liner or something like that I ended up looking like I had a black eye😂
WOW - that eyeliner you created is DELUXE!! I have very dry and ancient ones that drag my eye - you have now enlightened me - it's not my fault!! I am ordering your eyeliners today. You are so fun and beautiful. THANKS!!
Your eyeliner pencil looks very creamy, and easy to use. I love the lipstick color you chose! I use lipstick as blush daily, and it works very well for me. Another great video. Thanks Nikol, you look beautiful, as always.
I just got the purple eye liner, and I'll be honest ladies, I've never found an eye liner that actually stays on, but it's also workable before it firms up. Excellent feel and beautiful color! Her eye liners are fabulous! I only have one, but i will get more and try them as well. Thank you Nikol for such high quality makeup! My skin care routine is Caudelie now and my skin looks sooooooo smooth. Thank you for showing us such a wide variety of makeup techniques and how to actually put it on and look great for our age! Much love to you today!! ❤❤
@Nikol Johnson thank you so much Nikol!! I got the Not Overlooked palette, not sure if it would look good, but it is GORGEOUS!! So pretty on and soft looking!! Great new palette for me and my hazel eyes. 😍
That gorgeous, thick BIG head of hair. I can't even imagine. I have spent my wholelife making thin hair try to look plumped up. What a gift! As always, your makeup is aways "o point" and always the best suggestions are given for the mature face and makeup. Keep up the great work. Btw...any facial procedures you've had done that you want to share? I'm pretty new here. Thanks, Nikol!
Hi Nikol I just love your hair. Di you use any toner to get that color. My hair does also have a few silver stripes in it but I want more. What toner can I use to get it like your color. I don't like dull ash colors.. Your shiny silver hair is just stunning.
Oh so beautiful you make everything look so effortlessly im new 2 months into your channel how do you put on eye makeup if you cant see and need to be wearing your glasses?thanks for the fabulous videos 😍
Thanks for explaining why you are doing wood pencils; I was wondering about that! I'm buying a new sharpener! I tried this technique & really like it! Thanks for the coaching for mascara application......I realize this is what I'm doing wrong & my mascara keeps flaking. I did try taping my face with surgical tape & before I even laid down, I pulled it off. It may take some getting used to. The tips are great & you look gorgeous like always!! 💖
So loving this look! I’ve used eyeliner before as my quick shadow, yea I’ve found that what I’ve used can drag so I’ll need to get your reformulated eyeliner. So easy & pretty!!
Hello. I am excited to report that I have been using brown eyeshadow pulled of to the left brow along with then using my eyeliner to line my eyes. A similar routine to get your same effect. I need to try yours out. Very nice job!
I love that your pencil is a dual! I have been using your old pencil, and it’s hard! I have a permanent tremor, so I’m so glad for one that is soft and it doesn’t matter if I shake! You are easy to understand and I’m thrilled if I found you! I’m 69.
I used to wear a heavy lash when I was young. Friends and total strangers alike would ask what mascara I use, also asking me to share about my application technique. Now that I’m older, I find that a cream liner with a very modest amount of mascara is more flattering now.
Really enjoyed this one! You mentioned you might want to use the navy liner/shadow if you have brown eyes. Could you give a demonstration of this since you do have brown eyes? I like the idea, but have bad memories of the bright blue shadow from years ago. Thanks for all the great tutorials.
Thank you so much for this hack! I always enjoy your advice and just YOU in general! You are so so different then most people on RUclips that give makeup advice and I love your style and approach! I feel like I’m watching a dear friend on this channel!
I will be 70 on New Years Eve. I love love love what you taught us today! I used your hair tutorial and it turns out that my hair is already cut like yours - i didnt like it before it used your hair tutorial. I even used the Velcro rollers and I have never loved my hair this much. I stopped wearing makeup about 10 years ago and I think I have forgotten how, so thank you for this!! 🌷🩷🌷
Thank you so much for this! I'm 42, but even back in my twenties I've never been great at doing my makeup. My hands are always shaky and so my lines were never even. Or ended up looking like I had a black eye by the end of it LOL so this is so perfect for someone like me who can watch all the tutorials in the world for a winged eye but can't make it happen lol! I will definitely be checking this product out!
loved loved this video Nikol!! You have given me so much information this past year since I discovered you. I own many of your products including your new eyeliner and 3 tubes of your new lipstick. I will try this new technique this morning. I am 71 and I too am trying self tan for the first time. I have purchased 2 different ones after reading a zillion reviews that made me dizzy…. I just had to give it up and buy them. Please let us know if you had success finding the perfect tanner..
Appreciate your eyeshadow tutorial and I always have trouble eyeliner now as I know how to do it I will try today. Thank you so much for all the tips. By the way your face shape you are a beautiful lady I appreciate everything. Thank you.
I just stumbled upon your video and I’m so glad I did! I’ll be 68 this month. I’ve been looking for a better way to apply my makeup and I really like how easy your routine is. You make it look so easy. I've always been good at applying makeup until now. My as everyone facial features have changed and you can add apply your makeup like we did years ago. Im going to keep doing what has worked for me. And YES! Mechanical eye pencils are the worst to try and use, especially like this. Lol, thank you for this. Ill keep on, keeping on
You and your skin are beautiful ❤
Thank you
I am younger than the age demographic you spoke about but I am the worst with eye make up.

💕 I LOVE, Love, Love your tutorials. They are extremely helpful. Thank you 💕
WOW - that eyeliner you created is DELUXE!! I have very dry and ancient ones that drag my eye - you have now enlightened me - it's not my fault!! I am ordering your eyeliners today. You are so fun and beautiful. THANKS!!
Please let me know your experience once you receive them!!!!
Excited to hear this Lee Anne! 😘😘
@Nikol Johnson thank you so much Nikol!! I got the Not Overlooked palette, not sure if it would look good, but it is GORGEOUS!! So pretty on and soft looking!! Great new palette for me and my hazel eyes. 😍

You have fabulous Hair! Is there a reason you don't do Color ? ❤
Hi Nicole, that looks beautiful. I will try your magic by the way I love your eyebrows.
Hi Nico, that is a really beautiful that lash on you. I will try it. And thank you so much for will explain to us. You are so beautiful.
This is clever eye-liner to eyeshadow. Gives me more and idea. Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Wow quite impressed because it's simple and natural
I love that and I am 70 and decided I am going to try makeup for the first time! It looks so easy, so hopefully I can do it as easy 😍
Really love how simple that is. Looks really effective 💕
Just found your channel today...so glad I did
Hi Nikol I just love your hair. Di you use any toner to get that color. My hair does also have a few silver stripes in it but I want more. What toner can I use to get it like your color. I don't like dull ash colors.. Your shiny silver hair is just stunning.
I think you look amazing for your over 50years and you have great hairstyle amazing girl bless you from the UK 🙌 🇬🇧 ❤
Oh so beautiful you make everything look so effortlessly im new 2 months into your channel how do you put on eye makeup if you cant see and need to be wearing your glasses?thanks for the fabulous videos 😍
High magnification mirror, either free standing or stick on your wall mirror. I stick mine on my bathroom mirror. I have 10x and 20x
Just ordered the brown liner ! Love your aesthetic and personal style. Always so classy but with a urban edge. 💕
Hi Nikol your makeup is amazing. Pls let us know how to get rid of the rinkles on the forehead and mid eyebrows.😊
I address this topic in this video ruclips.net/video/rF2GE7U2Fx4/видео.html
So fast and such a lovely look. Talented lady. Great idea, will take a lot of practise to achieve this look
My eyeliner was a little too dry for this but what worked beautifully was some brown brow putty I had - THANK YOU, LOVE IT!
I love that your pencil is a dual! I have been using your old pencil, and it’s hard! I have a permanent tremor, so I’m so glad for one that is soft and it doesn’t matter if I shake!
You are easy to understand and I’m thrilled if I found you! I’m 69.
Oh my goodness, this lady is fabulous. She's gorgeous. I love everything she wears! You are a style poet!❤
Beautiful, thanks for the simplicity of it. I have loose skin and wrinkles on my eyelids. I also have chemical sensitivities. Any additional tips?
You are absolutely beautiful!! Thank u im gonna be 60 this year. I've been feeling old 😫 thank u for ur idea's. God bless .
Thank you, Nikol, for this great idea. What do you think of lining the waterline?
It’s a great idea if you want to close down the eye and make it look smaller. I like this look more for evening.
Love your hair, have similar but how do i get that slicked back look and make it stay? Beautiful
What a great idea! I'll have to give it a try. You're beautiful.
Thank you for being here !
Really I have learnt some tricks from u in face makeup thankyou once again
Your eyebrows are Jùst MANIFICENT❤❤❤❤
Love that your eyes are different colors! How have I not noticed this before? ❤
@nikoljohnson I love your channel and tips. I have to try your makeup 💄
Oh wow! So amazing that you can add color corrector under eyes!
My goodness your hair!💗
Thanks Nikol. You look great, even when tired.❤
Oh thank you!
I used to wear a heavy lash when I was young. Friends and total strangers alike would ask what mascara I use, also asking me to share about my application technique. Now that I’m older, I find that a cream liner with a very modest amount of mascara is more flattering now.
Is there help for sparse brows? Love that I found your chanel! You are helping me with this aging battle!
Really enjoyed this one! You mentioned you might want to use the navy liner/shadow if you have brown eyes. Could you give a demonstration of this since you do have brown eyes? I like the idea, but have bad memories of the bright blue shadow from years ago. Thanks for all the great tutorials.
I actually have hazel eyes. I will show more of the eyeliner colors in upcoming videos 😘
I turned “70” on March 4,2023. No choice, but “March on”….right? Yes, sometimes we do need a little help, but we can still
Be GLAMOROUS! 🌹
Great trick, I’m pushing 80 and will try this! Thank you.
I ENJOY WATCHING YOU AND YOU'RE REALLY BEAUTIFUL WITH BEAUTIFUL EYES -- I HAVE WASHED
OUT BLUE EYES WHICH ARE TOUGH TO LINE.....TO MAKE THEM POP.....
Lovely, super to be able to move the eyeliner into shadow. Like you in the paler lipcolor, even before the last whatever it was!
OMG, I'm in awe. This is not about the make up, it's about your hair
It's amazing ❤. I love it. Love the color.
