All that increased mass the current generation of bodybuilders have does come at a price, many more exotic drugs being taken and yes a huge amount of calories being consumed to support that size. Just watch some of the prep videos the elite bodybuilders publish now, they are still consuming huge amounts of food even just a few weeks out from a show. They are not suffering from deprivation diets but are suffering trying to eat six or eight meals a day so they hit the stage huge thinking the judges will reward size first and conditioning second and for the most part that is exactly what the judges are doing.

Schwanzus Longus Exactly, as a whole on average some of them are maybe 10/15 lbs more and that’s from not coming conditioned because they want to be full

@Schwanzus Longus kevin had very good front and rear lat spreads tho
some of you guus act like the back double bi is the only pose that matters, its just one of 7 or 8 mandtaories
which are just like 25 % of he ifbb scoring sysem in the 90s

Ronnie was eating anything he liked and still looked 10 times better than Kevin. Kevin is my favorite bodybuilder, but it’s stupid than he think bodybuilders these days are lazy or aren’t pushing as hard.

yes they are... Dexter Jackson is 230 at 5´6" and is considered a "smaller guy", Ken Flex Wheeler at his best in 1993 was 215 at 5´10.5". Dorian in 1993 was 257 at 5´10.5" just a few pounds heavier than Phil at his biggest who is 5´9" (and wins because of his conditioning, not his size). And Kevin was rarely above 240 at 5´9.5" and Kai has been 280 at 5´8" (and more shredded too)

You must be an unconscious millenial! Learn from the best, respect them, learn from their mistakes, then implement effective ways to reach your goal.
I see so many young guys taking tons products to achieve a great physique, it's a shame, and some younger will the same thing about your generation as well.
