- Action from this nations-based event, often held at the end of the rallycross season but in the case of this 1992 showcase at the Nurburgring, run in the height of summer. In total, 11 teams were entered: Norway, Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, Germany, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, Denmark, Netherlands, Hungary and Portugal.
Originally released on Sports Seen video, with initial presentation from producer Paul Hargreaves and commentary by Arthur Debenham.

What car is that at 20:49?
The red car? That's Barry Squibb's Xtrac Escort. Which is, IIRC, the original Martin Schanche Xtrac Escort, reshelled into a more modern Escort body. It was subsequently bought back by Xtrac founder Mike Endean and restored to its original look.

The funny thing about Barry was his constant complaints. According to one of the Norwegian drivers he tried putting the blame of his malfunctioning car on some other team. Sabotage was mentioned at least three times. No, Barry. Your team just stink at working on cars.
Also. They banned Volvo 240 turbo but kept the extremely overpowered Ford Sierra rs500. Hmmmmmm. Butt smooches much?
