In case I started to forget just how badly I want to take my family traveling like you all are doing, this video restores all my motivation to make it happen! I cannot thank you guys enough for sharing all your wonderful experiences! You are such an inspiration 😁
Those Bison sound like Grumpy Old Men.........The one that stood in front of the Jeep was eating and taking his sweet time. What a great time for the kids! (adults too...lol)
We’re here too. Camping at Carbella. It’s so fun to see your videos of places we’ve just visited, or places we’re heading later in the week. Thanks for sharing them! Safe travels!
That was very enjoyable I see the children were having a great time too that's wonderful to see your family get together like that it really enjoyed being out and God's beautiful ✝️✡️🐻🐼🦨🐧💖🌹🐦🦩🔭💙⛄🪐🦀🐝🐟
Visited Yellowstone a couple of months ago with my family and had the best time. Was the first time my mother in law had ever seen Yellowstone at 71 years of age and she fell in love with the place. We had the buffalo do the same thing on our trip. Such a wonderful place to visit. Going back again in November.
LOL. Just almost had a heart attack watching Jason walking so close to edge! So glad you grabbed his hand. Your family is awesome. Praying for each day of memories you are making for your family and all you share with us ! For whatever reason, some of us may not be able to do what you are- health, finances, time, whatever, watching your family has become such a blessing! Thank you!
We spent 2 weeks in Yellowstone camping summer 2018. We enjoyed the video but we had some concerns. Yellowstone isn’t the place to let your kids be so free. It’s dangerous. Climbing up on rails next to boiling acid pots is risky. Boardwalks are there for a reason & signs day stay on boardwalk. Showing your kids frolic off the walks is not teaching them to respect the park and protect the delicate ecosystems. It also didn’t look like you all were far enough away from the bison and bear. 100 yards from bears & wolves. 25 yards bison elk. I was a Girl Scout & it’s good to instill a healthy fear and respect for nature early. Happy travels. We love watching your family.
OMG SIMPLY AMAZING!!!! Thank U beautiful Loftis Family for letting us all be able to see our beautiful country, Love y'all...stay safe....prayers for God to always watch over y'all as ur traveling....God bless y'all
Yellowstone is one of my favorite places to go! Love the bison backups! Our son & I went back in 2012 and hiked down to the fall overlook area that you were at and also Uncle Tom's Trail on the other side. We also went to all the other viewing points along the canyon...once as the sun came up and it was so cold! We never did see a bear while we were there and the moose population had moved south toward the Tetons because of the fires in the park. At one point in our visit, the fire came right up to the road that cuts over to the canyon from the west side. Sean got some great time lapse footage of that at night.
First off I'd like to say I truly enjoy watching your videos. You have a beautiful family and you all seem to have so much fun! I just subscribed to your channel and just want to thank you for sharing your experiences with us! Those Bison/Buffalo were amazing and to see them walking right past your vehicles was amazing! I look forward to many more of your videos! Stay safe and Thank you again!
Maybe I need to sit in that warm water to help my RSD nerve disease. Maybe it would help. It looks so relaxing. The Grizzly Bears are the meanest and most fiercely Bears. I was scared for everyone standing there. You never know what they will do. Again thank you for taking me and everyone on this jo journey. I subscribed to your channel in the very beginning. And you and your family have not disappointed me yet on your videos and Adventures. And when I got that message from you today. I cried. It touched my heart so very much. I believe God places people in our lives for a reason. Truly let me and my husband repay you for all your love and kindness. Come to the Great Smoky Mountains and we will show you some Smoky Mountain hospitality.
Beautiful family! Thanks for all the great info! We’re planning on making the trip to Yellowstone park. We’re staying at Red Rock Rv Park. Near West Yellowstone and near Henry Lake. Your info and tips are a big help! Thanks!
I'm so excited for you guys and for ME watching this video! I'm hoping to leave Jackson to Yellowstone tomorrow so I'm following where you have been. My dream is to see the wildlife just the way you have seen it! I hope to be as blessed! So I should go to Mammoth Hot Springs, Lamar Valley and Boiling River? I'm taking notes :-) Thank YOU!
That grizzly encounter was awesome! I have never seen one remotely close in before, only up on mountains. If you want to see wolves and you go again, wake up at 5 considering your staying in mammoth, and leave at 5:30 for Lamar where you’ll arrive at roughy 7am and wolves are almost always out
Oh wow loved every minute of that vlog, your walk in the morning had beautiful views Michael, and the animals Bisson and Bear unbelievable thank you for sharing. Those views and the water were stunning xx
Yellowstone is so much fun. I’ve been to those exact same spots you guys are in. I also stayed in a cabin in Gardiner MT. Enjoy those awesome memories.
What was the name of the creek you went swimming? I just moved to Utah and I plan to visit Yellowstone often. What a magical place!!! I a smile watching the video. Blessings to your beautiful family. You make it look so easy to vacation with kids.
That grizzle bear was so awesome. I love Yellowstone, and here in Texas we call them buffalo's . Girl, how in the heck do you keep that gorgeous figure after carrying 4 babies? You are so sweet and beautiful; Michael is a very lucky man.
All I can say is...Wow........Wow.........Wow!!!!!!!!! Watching those Bison so close and seeing that grizzly bear so close( though I did think those on the road were a bit nuts)..............Absolutely AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhh...sulfer, poop, tomayto, tomahto, buffalo, bison.....🎶...lets call the whole thing off!...🎶 AWESOME personal zoo. Aint God great! Yall got to see what its gonna be like ‘walking’ amongst the animals again...🤗 🥰
This video was amazing, totally awesome. Love seeing the dears and bear and buffalo. Keep them videos coming. This one is my most favorite. Safe travels !!!
So cool! Unfortunately, we didn't see one bear or moose the whole time we were in Yellowstone, and we went around the entire park. Never heard an elk bugling or a wolf howling. We did saw lots of bison, elk and pronghorn. We did see a black bear and a fox in between Grand Teton and Yellowstone. The scenery, thermal areas, waterfalls, and everything were so beautiful! We just got back and really enjoyed!

OMG SO BEAUTIFUL, what a lifetime of memories thise kids are having, you're all amazing. God bless and safe travels Nancy. PS Was it a little scary being so close to all them wildlife ever at any point did you feel like ibhave to drive away or was you ever think they all should be at least in there cars?
How blessed you were to get a bear so close to you!! Grady was right! American Bison, ha. We discovered the beauty of Yellowstone last year on our 50th wedding anniversary trip. Didn't know of the creek or hot springs, though. Where were they? May God continue to keep y'all safe and sound.
I hope your children know how lucky they are to have such COOL parents, these are things they will remember and hope appreciate for the rest of their lives. I enjoyed the hot springs and all the geysers. So did you look up Ginger Zee? LOL If your in this area Custer State Park in South Dakota is also worth visiting, has some really interesting rock formations. Plus I'm jealous, spent LOTS of time out west hiking and YET to see a Grizzly bear, so that was NEAT!!!!!! Enjoy the road and stay safe.
I feel sad that I'm not still there! I definitely didn't stay long enough. My Dad has a hard time with his balance so he couldn't do all I wanted to do. But I still enjoyed it.
I was told you'll see more Bison (Not Buffalo) in Custer State park in SD That's because there are more per SQ mile there and have so many they have a bison auction every fall. We were told by a ranger in Alaska that it is illegal to be within 1/4 mile of a grizzly bear. We saw a family escorted out of Denial for being outside their car watching one less than 500 yards away.
Short question, was this real time as "September 15th"? I am asking because we want to travel there but I didn't know what month to go. If you all come back to TN send me a message. Go to Reelfoot Lake State Park in TN, site #3 or Columbus Belmont State Park in KY, sites 25-28. God Bless.
Almost doesn't look real...right? So enjoyed our trip to the Midwest. God made a beautiful earth! We got stuck in the eye of the needle tunnel (needles highway) by two huge white mountain goats. They were inside the tunnel eating salt off the walls. Yep, they don't care we are there!
This is so cool!! The bison/buffalo sounded like bears growling...lol If you are ever near the Smoky Mountains, make sure to drive through Cade's Cove: www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/cadescove.htm and also you can ride down to the Oconaluftee Farm Village: www.greatsmokies.com/mtn-farm-museum/. You may see bear, elk, all sorts of mountain animals. Just no calling the elk, I was cautioned for calling one out that I would get a ticket for disturbing them..Pigeon Forge/Dollywood and Gatlinburg are on the Tennessee side and on the other is Bryson City and Cherokee. I would recommend staying on the Tennessee side(and I am from NC). Thanks for sharing the videos of your trips. I am like the kids and want to stand up in the seat and look out too! :-) I grew up on a farm and when we went on vacation, Daddy would find something new for us to discover and see, i remember those experiences today, and I am 52..lol...and the great teacher of experiencing and seeing in person is so valuable. Y'all are giving your kids and yourselves something so priceless and special. Safe Travels y'all!! tell the kiddos I said hello to them too.
Doing both loops and EVERYTHING they have to offer...wowee , Mammoth springs (where they camped) grand canon of Yellowstone is on the south loop? Go to artists view...so amazing. Grand Tetons is a MUST. When visiting the Tetons enter at the Marina, Colbys or Carter's? It's starts with a C..lol...Go down to parking lot and go RIGHT down that road. You are then at a beach setting with a few picnic tables and a clear upfront view of the Tetons. Another great view is at Jackson Lake Lodge. Park and go inside lodge, up the stairs and to the windows. AMAZING. Have lunch outside! Yellowstone isn't explainable...you must go. Camping at Grant Village is amazing, it is it's own town! Remember when you are in Yellowstone you are 81 miles from town, I believe it's Cody. When camping at Grant, it's 35 bucks a night, that includes two showers, you have to pay for showers if you have more than two people. There are no hook ups or electric, but nice bathrooms all over the camp loops. Water spigot at bathrooms. Nice grill restaurant, grocery, gas station (3.00 bucks a gallon) nice lake restaurant. Full laundromat. It's amazing. We just returned from Rushmore and Yellowstone. Wyoming is GORGEOUS!!! Happy travels. As you can see, I'm not over it!!
Love the video. I was a little on edge when I saw the grizzled coming your way. What an amazing place...now I know I want to go back and really take my time to visit. Thank you for sharing. Is mid September a good time to visit?
We saw a herd of bison stampeding across the road, up a hill and then turned suddenly and headed back down the hill again in Hayden Valley by the thermal areas (Dragon Mouth, etc.). it was sort of scary in a populated area with lots of people around. Some were getting very close to video. It was amazing to see how fast they run, and how unpredictable they can be!
Those people standing on the road were so dumb and have no clue just how fast grizzlies are. If he wanted to he could've ran to them within a couple seconds and killed. Do people think their phones are gonna save them? At least have bear spray out lol. You shouldn't be afraid of wildlife but you should be weary of it and respect that they can be dangerous, be smart.
Yall truly are living the dream. Getting to see God's masterpieces. Some day I want to go west. How can someone not see these amazing mountains and views, wildlife, sunrise and sunsets and not believe in God. I pray God gives you protection and years full of unforgettable memories with your precious family.
Yellowstone sucks! Overcrowded and under facilitated. Visited two weeks ago and decided to escape after Old faithful. Visited virtually all the other parks. The difficulties outweigh the attractions. Not worth it!
Those people outside with the grizzly are nuts!
Yes they all started running back to their cars once they realized he was coming their way! Thanks for watching
People mistake Yellowstone for a petting zoo
In case I started to forget just how badly I want to take my family traveling like you all are doing, this video restores all my motivation to make it happen! I cannot thank you guys enough for sharing all your wonderful experiences! You are such an inspiration 😁
Thank you so much!! Its totally worth it!!
It's worth it, I've been going back for years and still miss things (I prefer Lamar valley, more stuff, less traffic)
Those Bison sound like Grumpy Old Men.........The one that stood in front of the Jeep was eating and taking his sweet time. What a great time for the kids! (adults too...lol)

Yes anytime between mid August and September is a great time. Thanks
Son is right. Buffalo are the water buffalo in India.
Thanks
👍
If the rangers heard you grunting trying to antagonize the grizzly they could fine you. That's strictly against the rules.
Hey! I’m kinda early..............not really
Thanks for watching
Grady's like, your holding me because I'm so darn cute.🤗
😆👍
Those people standing on the road were so dumb and have no clue just how fast grizzlies are. If he wanted to he could've ran to them within a couple seconds and killed. Do people think their phones are gonna save them? At least have bear spray out lol. You shouldn't be afraid of wildlife but you should be weary of it and respect that they can be dangerous, be smart.
What an awesome memory for you all! Enjoy!!
Thanks for watching
Are those people aware they aren't at Disney?!
lol but he is right Bison...no such animal as Buffalo...lol
Yall truly are living the dream. Getting to see God's masterpieces. Some day I want to go west. How can someone not see these amazing mountains and views, wildlife, sunrise and sunsets and not believe in God. I pray God gives you protection and years full of unforgettable memories with your precious family.
Agreed 🙌🏼!! Thank you 😊
👍👍 God’s creation sure is amazingly beautiful is it not? Y’all take care and God bless ✌️
It sure is!! Thank you 😊
Yellowstone sucks! Overcrowded and under facilitated. Visited two weeks ago and decided to escape after Old faithful. Visited virtually all the other parks. The difficulties outweigh the attractions. Not worth it!
That’s too bad you had a horrible experience. I believe timing at that place is everything!
@@LoftisPartyofSix At least we had a great time at the other parks.
