  • Hey everyone! I hope that you enjoy this video and following along with me as I show you what a typical week is like teaching in South Korea. I teach at five different schools, so this year has been very busy! I hope that this is useful if you are starting your own EPIK journey or if you're just curious about what life is like here! Wishing you all the best ♡

For incentives with my former Korean students, what I did was give them raffle tickets for answering questions correctly or attempting to answer them. Or winning a game. At the end of every month I’d draw their names for a chance to win a snack. As for my travel schools, I was always fortunate that I never had more than 20-30 bus ride. With that said, I’d probably take a taxi to and from school if it is an hour bus ride.

I also do the protein shake trick to skip a meal when I’m in a hurry 😁

Are international postgraduate students allowed to teach part time?

Hi! This is a great question that I honestly do not know the answer to! With that being said, epic jobs are full time teaching positions and (I don’t believe) offer part time work. But please check for yourself to see if this is accurate!
