Have you tried Koala Sampler yet? Use your phone for sampling and export them as ableton drum sets.

I've tried it and wasnt really into it. I kinda like to stay off my phone when I can so using the tascam helps. Plus it feels more fun lol. but i appreciate the recommendation!!
