Making a Pocket Hole Jig : No drill required !!

- Hello friends
I made a pocket hole jig without using a drill.
It can be made with metal spacers and wood offcuts that can be purchased for 1 $.
The plan is here ↓

You do not need a Kreg drill to open the pocket hole.
Of course, Kreg screws are also unnecessary.
It can be joined without problems with a low cost general purpose drill bit and a course thread.
If you look at this video, you no longer need to buy the expensive "Kreg" !
Goodbye "Kreg"!

what size metal tube is that?
I believe it's an M8. There are some that use a bit larger, too.
How can you expect this? You clearly copied off of Kreg.
Your channel is so refreshing compared to the American woodworking channels. No endless talking, no click baits, no scenes from movies, no sponsored content, no affiliate links, no stupid editing and cover the camera transition, no 30 minutes of boring milling wood . Just original ideas, start with the product and functionality, and then the build - simple and to the point. I wish there where more channels like yours.
You're a true master craftsman JSK, and you've really has inspired me to make this 'no-drill' version because every time I tried to make one of these using a drill the twin holes were misaligned with each other. It's almost impossible to get them parallel, except if you do it this way. Definitely my fun project this Lockdown Saturday.
A thing of beauty, amazing skills
Interesting design. Instead of trying to precisely drill specific angles, you just create the metal tube set up and glue it in between two pieces of wood at the angle you want. Simple but smart. I’m impressed. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻
Long, long time ago we nailed or screwed wood to wood in ways that came to mind, and everything worked well. There were no Kregs nor Woodpeckers and no one talked about "pocket hole jigs". How things have changed! Just you go ahead making your jigs one way or another and be happy. Pay no attention to those looking for jigs and finding falts with yours. Australian subscriber.
You continue to amaze with your expertise.
Ignore the critics. It's your patience and precision that impresses me.
Thank you.
Travail professionnel et méticuleux thanks you 👍🇩🇿
I love how you made so many space-saving tools. Now I know who to contact when I start my workshop.
No drill required, unless you actually want to use the pocket jig...
Well done! I'm making one just like it.
Your technique is the best of all from others on youtube simple no mess and easy to follow, Bravo! 👌👍👍👍👏 Thank you.
Love your videos. You make your jigs better than anyone I've seen so far. I would make my jigs using you design. Thanks
I think he means to indicate there is no special drill BIT required.
He is demonstrating a LOT of things here, not just the pocket hole. And that sander is a home made tool - this fella is precise and CLEAN! More power to him!
Fantastic talent. Thank you 🙏 for a great work
Better built than that crappy Kreg jig, which is plastic. Simple design that just works. I love your channel!
Thank you for your video, just what I was looking for to make shelves in the garage. Two different types of wood makes a difference. I am going to use some quarter or half inch scrap copper pipe instead of the metal spacers, I think copper will make it look even better.
Ignore the skeptics. They just don’t have the creativity to figure out ways to accomplish what you have done with the tools available. Very inspiring. I will try something similar.
Thanks for this video man..Earlier today I was searching for kreg jigs at ebay but they are really expensive..now i can make my own..i’ll replicate yours..nice job!
I bought a cheap one from amazon that cost $29. Having the gauge on the back for smaller boards is really nice.

The jig is great, but the glimpse of other diy adjustments to your woodworking tools was awe inspiring. I love everything I saw. What innovative ideas you have! Subbed
There's no greater feeling than self accomplishment .Great work...
Muy cierto. Adios Kreg.
Thanks for your video, this has inspired me to make my own pocket hole jig, just a tiny bit different. 👍💓
Excellent job. Well made video. Thank you for sharing. All the best. Mitch
Great job thanks Richard
I agree that it is for the satisfaction of creation. I like it very much, friend from Japan.

Amazing. Thx for sharing!
Well done, I like how you work!!!
Great video as always! Simple, yet practical. Even though I am not a professional wood worker, I remember at least several occasions such a tool would ease my life.
If you all ow me a very small "improvement" of the jig without any additional effort, I would suggest to stick the masking tape on the side, engrave the logo, which in turn would create the stencil but also a shallow engraved logo in the wood. Spray the paint and then remove the masking tape. This way this beautiful logo will never be worn off by everyday use ! 🙂
A new magic realisation, my personnal wishe to a fulfiment of a dream, thanks a lot!
Same for me!

Traditional Japanese Carpentry/Woodworking is so Cool to watch !
A pleasure to watch... Great video thanks mate 🇦🇺
Ficou perfeito!!!
I truly believe that people make these kinds of videos to over-complicate the simplest of things, to make more sales.
Nice! I love your slide ruler guide too!
For those who don’t know,
There are captions within this video that explains some parts of the process.
I can’t say enough about your craft. So Amazing! I am a woodworker but your work is at a new level!
Awesome work JSK
Excellent video, and excellent finished product.
Love this hack keep up the good work
You are such an INSPIRATION mate. Compliments.
Simply Genius!!!
Genius! Thanks for sharing!
thats really cool. i love that you built your own planer! that was awesome! you are definitely a skilled wood worker!
You cannot love that because you are (Guy Who Hates Everything)
Fantastic! The attention to detail is evident in all your work - simply great projects that are well thought out, well executed and even look better - due to excellence in the design.
Best looking one I've seen online.
I may have multiple comments. At first sight..it appears that this is a 15 degree angle. As I think about this You could draw a parallel line to the incline and that would help guide the drill bit. Excellent video. Lots of inspiration. I plan to make
my own version today. Necessity is the mother of inventions.
Excellent work! Great idea to use the 8mm tubing (for our American friends, that’s 157/500 of an inch).
Excelente, gracias. Saludos desde Chile
Great instructions. Will make one as soon as I can afford a panel cutting saw for this one project
Bwaahh hah hah - but one obviously doesn't need a panel cutting saw. (In fact that was a little weird - seems like he's showing off his own self-built tools. So (a) you don't need to "afford" one - you can build one, and (b) if you can't chop a piece of wood that size without a panel saw....sigh. >;-)
Excelente herramienta.
Can't deny the gracefulness of the work. I'd like to see you bake a cake.
Great job like always thank you
BEAUTIFUL WORK FRIEND!

What is the red drill bit holder you are using?
Wow, cool. So many great jigs and home-made additions to your tools. Gonna have to watch all your videos to see you make them.

You're now one of my favorite channels to watch.
You have so many jigs. That vertical circular saw jig is sick. Daiim!
Nice job, great tool
I like the design drawing. It reminds me of what I used to do at school.
excellent bit of craftsmanship. would love to be able to make one but don't think I could reach that skill level.
Beautiful
This is brilliant. Great skills ! Don't mind the negativity in the comment section.
By watching your videos, you put a lot of care into the design and construction. This pocket hole jig and the classic,p one are fantastic. A Kregg took of both kinds are pricey. So if you would put a price on them it would be comparable to Kregg. I would buy yours over Kregg, better to support someone like you instead of a conglomerate corporation.
Always the best
great work and an easy and cheap rebuild :)
Smart working. Awesome
Solo decir,BRILLANTE ¡¡¡
Nicely Done Great Work... Happy 4th Of July...

Very nice job! a little trick, I mix my epoxy glue on Post-it notes, we just have to remove the sheet and throw away ...
Classy work.....coarse....not course. Many skills here.
This guy is like a Japanese Matthias Wandel!! All these home made tools is awesome!
Thx!
Matthias Wandel is great.
I'm new to woodworking, but I want to be like him.
@@jisakukobo it was meant in every way a compliment. Your skills are fantastic. I wish you all the best in your adventures.
No drill required, but needs a bent saw, table saw, drum sander, circular saw..
Very inspiring..
