Hey Chris, 2 years ago I remember leaving a comment on this channel saying I wanted to pursue a creative career but I just wasn’t sure I was actually creative/innovative enough to make it. You basically told be that I should just give it a shot and see what happens. But I’m happy to say that I’m officially a graphic design student. My current designs you’d probably say are garbage but I’m actually having fun in my classes and experimenting with different styles. So thank you

This is a good role play. Clients ALWAYS want sales. ALWAYS, this is a great way to let them know what KPI's - metrics we HAVE control over. I'd love to see more like this ( a lot of my clients think social media = sales) where they ask for sales and you have to skrt skrt and explain to them it's a 360 marketing plan.

I honestly love you guys, I watch all your videos religiously and am a huge fan of Chris Do and Ben Burns. With love, these "roleplays" are such an American thing to do, they're absurd, no risks, no stakes, and linear; I appreciate the tense background music though, nice try. If you're going to teach me how to talk to clients then just give me the points and I'll try them on the field, the video could've been 8 to 10 min long. That said, thanks for all the content you're sharing with us worldwide. Love you guys!

It was really enlightening to see how Chris turn it around. I think it’s only possible when we found out their pain points before entering to discuss about pricing and expectations. That makes a lot of difference. Thanks for reminding we should prioritise the one right in front of us. I’m selling something that makes me happy than what makes them happy. That makes me struggle.

Another incredibly useful video that gets an instant like from me!
Especially the part about $. I get really awkward when I get to that part.
    Not anymore!
Quick questions: is it a good idea to try to close on the first meeting? I saw a lot of sales people saying that you should have 2-3 meetings to create rapport .
Did it ever happen to you not to be able to deliver? Promising someone a design that would increase conversion rates by 10% but it only increased by 4%. If yes, how did you handle it?
Thank you ! You are a designer's best friend!

I'm an OKR coach (Objectives and Key Results) and I talk about objectives and metrics all day. I love that now I can do in my sales pitches. Brilliant, it seems a lot less daunting now. Thank you for connecting the 2 ideas.
