I live right near the Danvers asylum watch the movie session 9 it is about the place also it’s apartments now but they retained the facade from the main building
Phone broke 2 weeks ago and my new one only just arrived today. So happy to see how many new stories youve ppsted in that time!! I'll have a great next couple nights 😂 thanks as always doctor creepster
I know you won't see this because tomorrow is Tuesday, but as much as I liked today's stories, I love your long stories so much! It's the reason you are my favorite narrator. It's your own unique brand, but I will support any narration you do. Keep going!!
I grew up down the road from the asylum. As kids we would sneak into the abandoned buildings and tunnels... Creepy and scary does not cover that place. There's a big apartment complex there now... Couldn't pay me to live there. Our little town is seriously cursed. We had 2 gas explosions, one man killed his family and stole a plane from Beverly airport and flew under the Tobin bridge firing a machine gun out of the plane.
I went ghost hunting at Danvers Asylum when it was it made into condos yet I'm not sure if the people living in the condos have any issues or what not but it was a very dark place that I would choose never to go back to
I think it's pretty sad that we vilify and stigmatise survivalists and peppers. There's nothing wrong with prepping for a disaster that HOPEFULLY won't ever happen.
@@russellmiles2861 that's a bit extreme lol what does she expect to be done when she gets cut or the power goes out? I personally wouldn't even call that prepping, it's just being responsible
I'm also from Massachusetts. Hospital of seven teeth aka Metropolitan state hospital and the orphanage that they tested nuclear crap on orphans right up to the 90's. Creepy place.
I remember tripping over a grave and realized we were in the middle of a poor man cemetery. They didn't even put names on the graves just patient numbers.
My mom worked at the Danvers asylum, she told me story's about when she did shifts in the dining area, how some patents would gather around a coffee maker and they would try to sneakily eat the coffee grounds and giggle like they were getting away with somthing. She told me about tunnels that I think ran below ground connecting eachother (I think I rember she said it was to transport the bodys?) She also said somthing about accidentally opening a like door/ pantry shelf thingy, and seeing what looked like specimines of organs in jars? Or somthing simular? But one thing I still think about is when I was really little I liked the paranormal and ghost hunting (still do) so we went there to check it it was renovated by then so we walked into the main hall and left but when we went outside we all went to the cemetery we walked through and near the back of the cemeter their was a pentagram made out of scrap wood with red and white melted wax all over it. For some reason I have like difrent memory's of what happened when I saw it in one I refused to touch the pentagram and backed away and left in another I kind of touched the wax on the boards and in another I walked on it's boards like a blaencing beam i think I did the first one though idk why I remember multiple like "endings" but yeah I'm gonna listen to this narrations now
Uhhhhhhhhhh my grandpa may have gone there 💀💀💀💀 my entire family on my mom’s side grew up pretty close and I know for a fact my grandpa had been in mental asylums a lot. Frankly other family members may have gone too, like my uncle. I think my aunt was in PA or something when she went. My mom is the only one in her immediate family who *hasnt* been to a mental hospital (me and my brother included lol)
Very disturbing movie. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of videos of Danvers Asylum on RUclips. A guy who worked security uploaded his time there. Very creepy stuff ☠️
The last one was defiantly worth the wait as I explored an abandoned asylum with a kerosene lantern and drank hot tea from a blue enameled tin cup after heating water in a matching coffee percolator over a portable propane stove during a torrential rainstorm with some pastries.
I’m probably overthinking your comment, but for some reason it’s bugging me. Are you saying that an author necessarily co-signs everything their story’s characters believe/state? A fictional character having a biased view against a particular group (which usually includes a inaccurate/prejudiced opinion against said group) doesn’t mean the author actually holds that view…
Honestly the constant bashing on survivalism turned me off pretty quickly. I'm not even into it, but the fact that the author was obviously sharing their obsessed opinion, on a cool hobby that can totally be enjoyed reasonably, felt pretty lame. Good narration nonetheless, Dr.
Do you have anymore videos similar to borrasca or the deep web game, things not dealing with paranormal and stuff I can’t get behind, I’ve looked through your videos and watch the realistic ones, but sometimes the names and image are misleading. I love your voice and would love to be able to listen to non-paranormal alien stuff lol

Hello 👋
I was actually wondering if that was true about a film being made about it. I’m going to have to look into it! Thanks!
I thought it burned down? No?
Session9 was incredible- what a tribute
I'm so glad to find other people who have seen Session 9! Great movie!
The Salem Witch Hysteria hapoened in Danvers less than a mile away from the Asylum. Danvers was known as Salem Village.

Tunnels were used to get to different buildings when weather was bad
Nice great story, but what makes it better is Danvers and that insane asylum is the next town over

Hello 👋
Thanks
I swear the last one, specifically the scene with the straight jacket, was swiped from an indy horror movie, but I can't place the name of it.
The last one was defiantly worth the wait as I explored an abandoned asylum with a kerosene lantern and drank hot tea from a blue enameled tin cup after heating water in a matching coffee percolator over a portable propane stove during a torrential rainstorm with some pastries.
🖤🖤🖤
I made it to 46 minutes, but it was so rambling and trite with tired plot devices 😴
25 for me
WOW, he sure sounds very opinionated, about how survivalists are “all the same” and how THEY are always so opinionated. Such willful blindness. LOL
Cool story but I don't think the author knows what a survivalist actually is

I went to essex aggie, back in the early 80s when it was closing down..

😂 Sorry, but this writer doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in shed.

The survivalist crap made me skip it. The author obviously has issues.
