Hi thanks for the vid. So during the ACS if you make a mistake at of the tests / assessments over the 5 days is it an instant fail ?? Or do you they multiple chances at correcting it
Hi pass your gas a video on chimney installations eg pre-cast flues and brick chimneys would be amazing, the books tell you a decent ammount on them but i think students struggle when put in front of them in the real world

What I’ll do is that I will make a video concentrating on the things that I know cause problems for students, so it won’t cover everything, just the things that you need to know. Great video again! Just wanted to ask how would you cpa on a backboiler in conjunction with fire. Without fire you would put probe in draught diverter but with fire and back fired up how can you check both at same time. Thanks
Hi Abdul. It’s really difficult to do that. You’ve got to get the probe into the flue above both the fire spigot and the boiler flue. The usual way would be to take the casing off the fire and try to route the probe up into the flue but that is nearly always impossible, so the instructions for cpa tell you that in this case the test cannot be carried out.
