thats bcz most people nowadays are walking zombies. bcz of all the sitting and technology. You should def start with even simpler exercises for strenght and also lots of stretching.
But good form is emphasized, so even doing one or two properly is still good. There are some variations a beginner/newly working body can make here, but obviously that wasn't the point of the video.
I'm a bodybuilder (powerbuilder) and I sincerely think that bodybuilders should do more of these exercises to further develop their phisique. One thing I believe calisthenics provide is superior shoulder strength in "awkward" positions, which is very beneficial to shoulder health in first place, an on the second place is that it gives you strength in main powerlifting and bodybuilding movements like bench press, overhead press, barbell row, deadlift, squat etc. Deadlift and squat benefit indirectly because of the core stability and overall mobility. I did all of these before, but now I'm really getting serious with it. I highly suggest this for anybody, not just "street workouters". Nice video btw, very well explained. :) Peace
Gonna try these out, my routine get a little stagnant and you guys finally put up a video i can do. Hopefully you guys put up more beginner-intermediate friendly workouts!! Thanks
Alex You are the first person I admire on youtube as a professional super sports instructor I have ever met and saw ... First of all thank you and your partner for your time you devote to people you do not know !!! Hugs and lots of thanks from me. Second, it's so beautiful that you're not just brainwashing and talking and talking, but straight to the point. A third thing is very important: you are honored that you do not use a woman's body to convey your unique talent to others, and even though you know that you will certainly have more views and yet you avoid it. Only for this you deserve a special citation ... Anyone who has a little heart to understand can see that you are not on RUclips to show off but really to contribute to others ... just the way to go !!!! Another thing that I'm very happy about is that your exercises can be suitable for beginners who are neither physically strong nor mentally weak, and also for those who are very strong ... They can understand years have not started yet and they are weak compared to you. You see that if you have a gift from Heaven, you do not mingle negatively with it, but only to raise the morale of your viewers to exercise, and that people will have a healthy body with a healthy mind. I thank you very much and hope you will succeed in everything and continue to do kindness to the world by contributing and sharing your talents to others. I hope there will be peace in the world, and it is good for everyone, and everyone will love Israel. And Israel will love them all. And all of them including everyone without exception will do the will of the Creator blessed name ... And then anyway the whole world will be in peace and joy. And I believe you are. Thank you very much for every video that helps me and my family very much. I hope and wish that money will not move you from your true goal to the world and neither fake honor nor social pressure wrong nor beautiful girls that is the hardest. If you stand up to this experience of everything I have mentioned here, you will always find yourself in peace of mind until you are old, and in heaven too. Shabbat Shalom.
This is the first calisthenics video where the "trainer" doesnt just want to show off but really wants to learn us something. I really like how you explain the exercises and show it slowly. I owe you more than just a like. Keep training and thank you very much!
I know all of these (and much more) so I guess I'm doing ok. IMO it's nice to see what people who are obviously more athletic than me say one should be able to do. It's nice to have a confirmation from time to time that you're on the right track. Cool channel guys! Keep up he good work.
Great video. #2, 4, 5, 6 (static version), 7, 8, 9, are all done regularly in good yoga classes. I never had a better physique or feeling in my body then when i was doing yoga daily. I would supplement my practice with pull-ups and cardio.
Thank you so much for sharing this information with every one. I have wanted to add these routines into workouts....now that I have competent material to refer to, I feel safer now.
Excellent video.......These exercises are the foundation of all the more advanced movements and skills.....You must have a strong foundation before building a sky scrapper.
This guy's abdominal muscle definition during the arch hold is phenomenal! As an obese woman of 43, who leads a (currently) sedentary life here in the U.K., but who is losing weight and looking to build an exercise programme, I wonder how much of this is accessible to the completely unfit and inactive beginner. Perhaps there is a video aimed at us and I just haven't found it yet. Despite this, these videos are very inspiring and informative, and there are at least a few exercises I can attempt, even for a short time. I'm sure that, as my weight reduces, I'll be able to try more. Thank you for taking the time to show good and poor form, and for explaining which muscle groups etc. are being used.😀
Did I miss one? I only counted 9... 1) Scapula Raise/Hold 2) Push-up Hollow Body Hold 3) Dip Lean Support Hold 4) Reverse Bridge Plank 5) Handstand Walk/Hold 6) Bear Crawl 7) Arch Hold 8) Hollow Body Hold 9) Deep Squat Or was one of those supposed to count as two? Awesome video in any case. :D
I am beginner and want to start the basic exercises. I am looking forward to have a set of exercises that I can do in routine. kindly guide me. thanks and Regards.

+Maurice Kindermann Handstand Hold & Handstand Walk are 2 different exercises.
its Crap Hole
So these exercises are all isometrics rights? New to this. Sorry if it's a dumb question.
Hold - meaning Isometric contractions. you need to be very conscience of those 9 movements to do more advanced skills out of those positions.
The exercises mentioned in this video are extremely useful, especially for beginners.
Beginner here, can't do most of these :x
