Wow, dude - I’ve watched a LOT of product reviews but your videos are EXTREMELY concise and valuable without fluff and flair. Kudos for doing such great product videos. Subscribed. FWIW - I wish EVERY motorcycle glove came with a connector between the smallest two fingers - not like anyone sticks their pinky finger out on a motorcycle so why not protect the smallest finger from being torn backward in a crash?
Thanks for the feedback 🙏 and I 100% agree. So few gloves connect your ring finger and pinkie but I feel like that should be a standard feature. I can’t imagine it would make a huge difference comfort wise so why not just add it.
I’m from Valencia, Spain, where the weather is pretty similar to California. And I use them all four seasons. In winter usually with another thin gloves under them.
Really great in depth video! I really hate the fact that Knox patented having two hard sliders so any other brand can't have those, thus limiting safety in the market
There is no place that sells Dainese where I live, I will buy 4 stroke 2 online. My hand circumference is 21cm and the length between my middle finger and wrist is 19cm. I heard that leather gloves open 5%, which makes 1.5cm. Dainese recommends size M, which size do you think I should buy? Can you tell me your hand measurements and the size that is not too loose or too tight for you? Thank you.
My hand is 22cm circumference and my wrist to end of middle finger is 20cm. For me a size S is best. I like my gloves tighter fitting. In the video i was wearing a medium and it was too big for me. The small is snug but it will break in better. Hope this helps!
So better palm reinforcement and scaphoid protection, better finger outside protection, boa system, dual layer on index finger, better fit but somehow Dainese is better?
@@valentinrizvan1870 if the knox didn’t feel like it was made of cheap plastic, it definitely had the better feature set of the two. Knox was a lot more innovative with this design but it was a bit clunky for me. Ultimately, I couldn’t recommend a glove in that price range that felt cheap. I did return both of these in the end. The dainese was not comfortable for me and the knox had quality control issues 🤷♂️ I will say I wanted to like to knox more and had high expectations when i purchased it so maybe that’s why I felt let down by it in the end?
@AgentCodyBikes yeah, seems that you were bothered by the outer design. It's a polarising design for sure. But having tried both gloves I still think Knox is the one more protective. It feels like an armour when you put your hand inside. The Dainese is more like a normal glove with some fancy metal plates added on top
Yeah I agree, to me it felt like the leather was better on the Knox. I think when they come out with the next version i’ll try those again too. I may have also just gotten a bad handroid glove. I’ve heard from other people that they have not had issues with the plastic creaking and the fingers being difficult to move. For something that expensive I just wanted it to be perfect lol.
Do you still think you need a size small? My palm size is 8.5 which Dianese's size chart states is a medium, but if you are closer to a size large (guessing 9"?) and think you need a small, I feel I should get a small too
I just remeasured my hand and I’m snug at 8.75 inches. So if you are the same as me or a little smaller then I would agree. Size charts are all over the place so it’s really helpful to try on when possible. You can also order from speedaddicts.com who have free return shipping/exchanges if you’re concerned about getting stuck with a glove that doesn’t fit perfectly.
The flap at 13:24 is for pulling the glove on tighter. Most gauntlet style gloves have that.
Good to know, on the Knox Oulton I had assumed it was there to cover up the velcro. Glad to know it has a better function lol
@@AgentCodyBikes A lot of people also dont know on gauntlet gloves, the knuckle flap is to help you take it off easier with the other gloved hand.

Good review, thanks. The Knox looks a bit spooky with all that Alien braids
Definitely an acquired taste for sure. Love it or hate it
Really nice review, thank you. I was considering the Knox, but will go with the Dainese after watching this.

The palm is softer on the Handroid i think one guy said it was kangaroo leather
Pretty sure you’re right. My bad if I said differently. Thanks for the comment
Well done thanks
Nice, thanks bro
No worries, thanks for the comment 👌🏼

It was a great and detailed video! Have you found a good replacement yet?
Yep! The Knox Oulton MKII is my current favorite. Can’t recommend it enough. I have a video reviewing it as well.

I have the handroid pods. Yours are faulty. The strips on top of the fingers should not rub at all.
Hey man, i want to buy a pair, got anything to say about them? Anything positive or negative ?
