Hey up coolixon, I also have the sunne suit, it's great, you won't be disappointed with the gloves 😁, thanks for watching and dropping a comment much appreciated, ride safe Simon B 😎
@@SIMONB1 I’ve been watching your other videos now and I like the fact that you use the gear for a good while before reviewing it. There are so many people who buy new gear every week and just review it straight out of the box. I appreciate your opinions.
I’ve never tried Halvarsson but do have a pair of Lindstrand from about 6 years ago and can’t say I’m a fan. They were never a great fit but then I do have trouble with size if I get a large say the fingers are always too short. The biggest problem with these was they were supposed to be waterproof but after a some heavy rain completely soaked through. They had the non pull out liner but they were so wet getting on was almost impossible. The best for gloves I have are some BMW goretex ones bought after trying on whilst waiting for a service and found them to be a perfect fit. I do have several other pairs some from Knox again not the best fit but nearly ok some RST Paragon II heated ones then several others including two pairs from Australia made from kangaroo leather.
Hey up southwest, sounds like you've not had some luck with gloves, when your gloves got wet in the rain were you using heated grips ?, as this can make the water penetrate inside, the BMW ones are probably made by held, they make great gloves also, thanks for watching, ride safe Simon B 😎
@@SIMONB1 no heated grips Simon end of summer in our usual biking weather seems to follow us. My wife was on pillion and had same gloves maybe different design and hers got as just as wet. Problem I have is fit trying on as nearest bike shop 100 mile round trip nearest gear shop 200 mile round trip, probably why I’ve ended up with a whole box of gloves.
Great straight talking reviews. I bought the John Doe mono defender trousers after watching your review. 👍 I've had some halvarssons gear before..really good quality.

I might just treat myself. I ride all year round and REALLY need a decent pair of waterproof warm gloves. My £65 Oxfords are pretty good, but I'm definitely in the marker to spoil myself with some decent gloves thos year. Thanks for the review
Great glove options Simon. Thanks for sharing. I have a Lindstrands textile suit which I really love, seems like I need to check out their gloves now. 😀

It’s great seeing Halvarssons with scaphoid sliders. How about reviewing Lindstrands Bergby gloves next, as they are one of the more affordable CE Level 2 gloves (alongside Oxford Nexus gloves)?
