I instantly picked it up, washed it with warm water and soap thoroughly and then I went into kitchen and got a new pill of the same respectively necessary medication and then returned to her sleeping room and gave them both to her, waited till I had certainty that nothing would go wrong the second time... When I was convinced, she smiled to me and told me " ghmertma daglocos shvilo" which in my native language georgian means " may god grant you health, child" ( since,as it appears to me, she did not succeed with remembering my name or recognizing who I was)... She didn't think much of this song and she thought even less of Willie Nelson. But her husband, who helped write this song, talked her into recording it. Dude deserves some king of medal for that.
@Zachary St-Pierre You a complete idiot for saying that. No Shit Willie wrote it. But Patsy made it famous and sang it better. Your country knowledge sucks.
Same here. Not a country fan but Patsy Cline and this song introduced me to country. My late brother used to sing this song and play it on his guitar. Sometimes I sang with him. Love you Patsy Cline.
Created back in 1961 yet remembered till today. When your name is engraved in history passing by generations as if it has no sense of time. Just beyond existence.

yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20. She got cancer in 2020 I was totally lost without her. She took a major hit the treatment was horrible for her. I could do nothing to change any thing so I felt helpless. I miss her everyday. Mothers are the glue that holds everyone together.. seeing this makes me miss her even more I come to this page all the time just to have that nostalgia
In no uncertain terms Patsy Cline was the greatest female vocalist that breathed American air. Her vocal range, nuance and particularly the incredible emotion she conveyed in every song was without any peer. RIP, Patsy. May your voice be raised with the Angels as we continue to kindle your memory here.
I'll never forget the first time I heard Patsy Cline. I was 14 in 1979 and my uncle put her greatest hits album on. I thought she sounded like an angel and I still do. And I was and still am a metal guy. When I was 14 I was not into country. lol. I was into Sabbath, Priest & Maiden. But this lady melted my young heart. I will always cherish her music.
My dad took us from my mom and some of my fondest memories are listening to patsy with her. Once, i intercepted the mail and she had sent me 'live from the opry' and 'faded love' cassettes both a 50's pink. Funny how i frequently cant remember what i was in the process of saying, yet something like that is branded forever.
It was the same year that Dad played her the first time I heard that voice, though I was about 5. Both of my parents liked country music, especially mum who was a farm girl and like you, country was not anywhere near my favourite music. But Johnny Cash and this gorgeous songstress, well my classical/metal/80's rock ears will pick to listen for the sap and quality of voice.
Hello. How are you doing? Hope you're fine. I am Mike Collins and I'm Originally from Norway but currently live in Rochester new York city Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl.
@@mikecollins186Old comment but how does she seem like a "real country girl" because of her comment. Would I seem like a real British girl because I like the Rolling Stones, Queen and the Beatles? Creepy, trying to hit on a woman who posted about her mother's funeral. I think you mistook this for EHarmony or ElderDating. 0:02
@ Sandra McComas---No she DID NOT die so young--they decided to retire the character they called "Patsy Cline", so they, (her Handlers) "killed" her (actually HIM), via a phony, contrived " death-by-air-plane-crash", The TRUTH is ALWAYS much stranger than any fiction.
My first love would play this album when we drove up to the Sedona house. This is a time capsule for so many people for so many reasons. One person who made magic for the rest of us. Thank you Patsy.
So uncommon, so confident, that fine specimen of a female singer was pure diamond of a vocalist, never have i heard such astonishing balance between clear register and yodelling. If an artist's value could be measured by how often in a century such a voice comes along then Patsy Cline would be at once in a billion years
This song brings me back, I remember my grandma had a CD with this in her car. She used to play it in the car on the way to Dunkin donuts the morning after we spent the night at her house. Sometimes I wish I could go back to those days. I'm 19 now, my grandma has since passed and the car (a 2006 Cadillac DTS) is now scrapped. But sometimes when driving in that area, I play this song.
My grandma would sing this all the time when I was younger. I’m glad I was able to hear her sing when she was still with us. Any time I miss her I play Patsy Cline. For my grandpa it’s Hank Williams or Johnny Cash. I’m getting married in two weeks and plan on having this song playing while the ceremony is playing. I may make a playlist of old love songs my grandparents always listened to. Off topic but my grandpa never actually proposed to my grandma. They just went and got married one day. On their 50th anniversary he got down on one knee and he proposed. It was so sweet. It seems like the closer my wedding gets, the more I think about them and how I wish they could be there with me

crehnc me 🙋🏼♀️. No one can sing this better than Patsy, for sure !
I’m 12, and I wish my generation would still appreciate this kind of music. Goodness me, there’s just something entrancing about it.
🤓
I'm 14 and yes I agree I really do wish this generation can
And honestly her song walkin after midnight has to be my favorite I have so many good amazing memories tied to it my dad would sing it to me or play it to me when I was little like 3-9 and I wish he would now but he dosnt really sing to me anymore I guess he thinks I grown out of it or maybe because of this generations music, but I wish he would still sing it to me

I'm 30 by the way. Don't worry, we are just young at age not in our soul ❤️
Im a man born in 1998. I have to say this is the only song in the world thay brings a tear to my eyes. Her beautiful voice and sad death makes me sad yet thankful for her presence on earth. R.i.p patsy
Patsy Cline, Edith Piaf, and Aretha Franklin. The best.
Ever since Tyson Fury came out to this song, I can't stop playing it. That dude is crazy! 😂
Init loved it me he ace 😂
This song is gonna haunt Deontay Wilder for the rest of his life.
My god, what a voice full of soul and feeling. I will always love this.

Just buried😢😢😢 my oldest sister 4 days ago. This song by Patsy Cline is one of her favorites, I remember her singing this as a four year old. My sister was 15 years older than me, and was a "junior" mom to us.
Brings me to tears listening to this music, happy, nostalgic 🎶 music.
I’m so sorry for your loss 💗
God bless her soul

Let us make no mistake: Willie Nelson will go down in history as one of the greatest for writing this piece of history that can never be erased.
And Pasty made it one of the greatest of all time.
Patsy made this song great AND gave it a JAZZ flavour.
Wow, Thank you for the info....
Absolutely! Willie wrote many great songs.
Had no idea Willie wrote this. Man is certified.
She didn't think much of this song and she thought even less of Willie Nelson. But her husband, who helped write this song, talked her into recording it. Dude deserves some king of medal for that.
This is one of the best songs in American history. Patsy you're a legend in time. Thank you.
Thank Willie Nelson too.
@Zachary St-Pierre You a complete idiot for saying that. No Shit Willie wrote it. But Patsy made it famous and sang it better. Your country knowledge sucks.
@Zachary St-Pierre your complete gutter trash for saying that about one of the best singers ever.
If only today’s music could sound this good

@@aazz8180 hell yeah

Hello beautiful
I first heard it in gta san Andreas radio 😂🙂
Good old dayss ❤💔
Her voice still sends tingles up and down the spine.
I'm a rocker, and all I have to say is this song ROCKS, and is timeless.
Me too and One hundred percent. Classic timeless just supreme
Let's give a lot of respect to the piano player as well as the brilliant Cline.

What an amazing song, brilliantly executed by Patsy. Perfection!

Right? Just stand there and sing. Love it
You mean she outstanding..
Right most these woman now half naked
One of the best female country singers ever! I really don't like country music, but I love it when she sings it!
Same here. Not a country fan but Patsy Cline and this song introduced me to country. My late brother used to sing this song and play it on his guitar. Sometimes I sang with him. Love you Patsy Cline.
Is this song country? I don't really know about the genre
@@luciabaez6787 Yes, yes it!
@@camiblutube7116 Thanks!

Created back in 1961 yet remembered till today. When your name is engraved in history passing by generations as if it has no sense of time. Just beyond existence.
I'm welsh , and always sing , and this was always a family favourite. I sing it very often even after major throat surgery . I'm still here 14 yrs later it won't beat me xx my love goes with you all xxx
Hello 👋 how are you doing today
yeah absolutely I’ve been married for 32years I was 24 and she was 20.
She was definitely great but to make that claim I have to disagree. She's among the best for sure. Good day
I'll never forget the first time I heard Patsy Cline.
1965Vintage Do you feel the same way about The Carpenters? I do!
Same happened with me...
😘
I just watched great film “Sweet dreams” about her. Now I’m listening to this masterpiece and crying… How beautiful
THANK YOU Patsy!!💔 ❤🙄❤💔
Hello Sara, how are you doing today, hope you’re fine and safe from the Virus??
This was played for my Mommy as she was driven to the funeral home the day she passed away..it was her absolute favorite song!

This angel is singing in heaven now. God rest her beautiful soul.
Wish Mom and Dad were still here listening to rhis with me

This song is a masterpiece. So simple yet so clever.
Written by the great Willie Nelson.

Wonderful woman and nobody sounds like her! So sad she died so young.
Yeah that's so true nobody ever has her great Voice ...Hello Sandra?
@ Sandra McComas---No she DID NOT die so young--they decided to retire the character they called "Patsy Cline", so they, (her Handlers) "killed" her (actually HIM), via a phony, contrived " death-by-air-plane-crash", The TRUTH is ALWAYS much stranger than any fiction.

The best thing Willie Nelson ever wrote! And lovely Patsy made it immortal.

You have a good soul.
So uncommon, so confident, that fine specimen of a female singer was pure diamond of a vocalist, never have i heard such astonishing balance between clear register and yodelling. If an artist's value could be measured by how often in a century such a voice comes along then Patsy Cline would be at once in a billion years
Great reflections on her delivery and many of her songs were a reflection of her life`s reality..
She sure was special. She’s one of my musical idols.
Beautiful
Pretty much the most gifted female singer, of all time, don't see how anyone else, could ever match her .
One of the most powerful voices in country music. I just loved everything about her. May she continue to rest in peace 💔
Rest In Peace grandma it’s been 5 years this was your favorite
My great nan's favourite as well, let them both rest in peace 🕊
Just my favorite! That gal could sing!
Memories like these are the reasons we love life!
I'm a great granny x3 I've still got patsys cd awesome

I wouldn't call a CD player in a car a nostalgic memory...and a car built in 2006 is scrapped already?
