Is your life currently off track or out of alignment? if so, what steps are you taking to get it back on track?

My life is on track. I know my purpose. However, forces of evil try to derail me causing me grief. I try to remain calm in each situation. The gates of hell will not prevail.

I'm off track with drugs, and doing way too much of nothing. Going switch from idle to meditating, and going try to limit my vices. Sadhu 🙏

Weather allowing I walk every day. I bought a new bed because my old one was hurting me and I wasn’t sleeping properly. It’s just a twin but I’m sleeping six hours a night instead of two hours at a time. I have a lot of pain in my hands from arthritis and I love to draw people’s pets and it’s very fulfilling so I do what I can sometimes just a little bit a day, but it’s very fulfilling. I’m 77 and I think I’m ready to die but I feel like I need, in order to let go of this life I have to let go of my addictions (so far so good) and let go of my past which gives me much sadness and anger.

  • @jeffreyjackson5229

Life is more painful when you get off track because you are exposing yourself to things that you wouldn't normally if you weren't off track. This has been my experience, a life lesson, and wisdom acquired as a result.

  • @paulamoors

I think I’m on the right track today. My problem is staying on the right track. Not giving in to my addictions, letting go of my past.

Thank you, Venerable Nick.🙏 I'm really grateful that I found your channel about two years ago. At that time your videos helped me to get out of my really deep depression, and they are still so helpful in my life. You manage to upload your videos just when I need advice and teachings in my life. The day this video was uploaded was a terrible day for me. I was in a really bad place mentally, and it took me some time to be able to face my thoughts. So at first I couldn't finish watching this video (my mind was that disintegrated, and my fight or flight mode was fully switched on), but I knew that I was gonna come back to it later (that was today). I just wanted to say that I'm honestly thankful for your teachings, they always help me in some ways in the end. You're a blessing in this chaotic world.🙏

Exactly what I just did over the past week! I was so overwhelmed with various constraints of life at the moment and no help available. I made a schedule for a month that is realistic and allows me to have a little more time and focus for a key task that I would rather not do at all. I feel so much better! A friend is keeping me accountable with me improving my bedtime as a part of the plan. Taking a step back, being honest, asking hard questions and approaching it all with the reminder that my best is all that I can do and the outcome will be whatever it is as a result, is sooo relieving!

thank you Ven Nick for all the wisdom in your videos. I have another vehicle analogy. one is used to driving down the highway at 75mph, you travel the same route every day and are on autopilot. you do not notice the heavy downpour and you hydroplane causing a brief loss of control. you become aware of the situation you are in and focus on the now instead of being on autopilot.

To recognize it is a blessing within itself. Some don't recognize it until their death bed, if then. By the time that my now deceased father recognized it, too much damage had been done to himself and his relationship with his children. He died bedridden and an alcoholic. And I have no doubt that before his last moments he thought on all the time that he had squandered.

I read this self help technique about alter egos. It’s about copying someone (like your favorite character) that you admire and show up or act as they would in a challenging situation. It’s kinda like willpower from our imagination against the ingrained self sabotaging tendencies we have. I was confused at first, I thought that all egos are just sources of suffering but now I think that they won’t be as such if we could easily take them off. We could just imagine ourselves as characters and the world is our stage. We can act or be that kind of person that is capable of doing the things we want to manifest in our lives but still acknowledge that this person we’ve become is just a means to an end. What do you think sir Nick?

Hi thank you so very much for all
You do in making the videos for all of us to watch and learn.
If it is ok with you Nick...i need your help for me and for others like me whose brain does not and will not ever function like all the "normal" people brains out there.
May i ask that you kindly make a video specifically for those who have ADHD/ADD along with
    Bipolar Disorder please.
As much as i wish so much to be able to live a peaceful, happy, successful life...this lifetime of mines will never grant me that "right" path nor will it ever even get to go in a "straight " line.WHY? Because the line
Was never straight for me from the beginning....
The car i have been driving...you see the tires it was never ever aligned for me from the start and all these Years of driving on the same road as everyone , i never realized that the exact same road that everyone also uses was so hard for me especially during the raining season or winter where the fogs are thick...it will take me 5 times longer on the road because like i said...my tires was never balance or aligned for me so you can just imagine how hard and scary it was for me.
Please i hope you can think about it and get to know more about ADHD/ADD & Bipolar so that you can make a video foe people like us. If you
Can make for focus&concentration, procrastination , organizing,
Time management, how to finally know and feel what its like to actually live a human life in this Earth World.
    Again thank
    You so
    Much!

Hi Nick. What do you recommend people do who have neurological differences in brain and nervous system to feel better in general? Like ADHD and autism. Meditation and all those tools is more difficult because trying to meditate with ADHD is hard because the mind is very active in its nature. Like it just spins and spins no matter how good or bad this moment is. I work as a cleaner and my mind spins even more and faster (or so it feels like) when Im mopping or vacuuming the floor or any other "mindful" task. Its the nature of ADHD. So cant you make a video for neurodivergents how to apply your wisdoms and teachings? Because its very hard for us to be still and find peace in stillness. Kind regards.

Don't allow your relationship with yourself and it's quality be contingent on your relationship with others, not even family. Just because they are family, it doesn't mean that the relationship is mutually beneficial.😉

    Vandami Bhante 🙏
Today our neighbourer harmed our little baby kitten of just 2 months with the wooden rod , after that he is crowling with the back legs...my brother and i get the kitten to the veterinary doctor he proscribed the pain killer medicine and suggested to do the x ray of her lower back. He said that if there is spinal injury then it is not possible that she can walk with her posterior legs..Now i feed her and give some medicine. She is just looking in my eyes when i speak with her.
My question is why People are so cruel to the living beings? What wrong they did . I don't talk with the neighbourer harshly never i deed any wrong. Then who will punish such person, in india there is no law for the animal cruelty, i am feeling very low and sad in the heart.
Please give your Blessings for her Good health.
    Triple salutation to you.
    Bauddha namami
    Dhamma namami

Even drops of water will fill a bucket if they last long enough.

Thank you for sharing this wisdom, Nick🙏🏼🤍
This video came right on time.
For me, it's clarifying my needs and priorities asking what I want for myself, creating a plan/vision for the upcoming weeks/months and taking it from there.
