The Crochet Ripples Stitch
Chain a multiple of 4 + 2.
Row 1: Starting in the second chain, sc across. Chain 1, turn.
Row 2: Work 3 dc into the first stitch. *Skip 3 stitches. Work a sc into the next stitch, chain 3, work 3 dc into the same stitch you just worked a sc. End the row with a sc into the last stitch. Chain 1, turn.
Row 3: Work 3 dc into the first stitch. *Skip 2 dc, work a front post single crochet (fpsc) into the next stitch. Chain 3, work 3 dc into the chain 3 space of the previous row. Repeat from * across. At the end of the row, work a sc into the last stitch. Chain 1, turn.

Any number that is a multiple of 4 (4,8,12, etc) , and then add 2 to that number!
