- This video walks through a 1994 MCI 40' "D" series passenger bus. This bus has the 12.7 Detroit Series 60 engine and an Allison HT740 automatic transmission. This bus is designed to carry 47 passengers but in its current configuration, holds 41 with three tables and three sets of reversed seats.

What a great bus! If you still have it, can you please do a super long driving video from the back with no music, just pure Detroit sound? I want to hear it out on the road, running through the gears of the Allison HT740, since that's my favorite Allison transmission. If you do the long driving video, please make sure it's as long as possible, and please leave it completely unedited. Please let me know ASAP.
Great tour video! we have the 1987 version of this bus.
Was wondering if you might be able to help us understand more about the restroom, we know how to dump the tank but not where to fill the fresh water for the tap or how to refill the black tank. Any help would be appreciated.

The D- Series was the most durable and reliable coach that MCI has ever produced. They were work horses.
