This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RUclips channel 8 months ago about self development. Now I have 1,094 subs and > 900 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

I wouldn’t have appreciated the power of kindness if someone was not cruel to me. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of growth if I didn’t see myself stagnating. I wouldn’t have appreciated the importance of health if I didn’t get sick. I wouldn’t have realized the importance of real love if I haven’t witnessed my parents’ relationship slowly fall apart. I’ve been resigned to the fact that I’d have to buy an expensive camera to improve quality on my channel. This shows you can still make great videos on your phone with the right tools. Extremely helpful content👌. Something I do(because I only film with my phone) is to over-sharpen the video on FCPX. What this does is to make up for the quality loss that happens with RUclips video compression. Your exported footage would look a lil too sharp, but on RUclips, it will look nice & crispy.

Thank you ❤ One more thing which I usually notice, when people take a photo or recording a video using their mobile camera they forgot to increase their mobile brightness to the highest. High brightness setting makes a video or photo quality much better.

@@iyanuoluwaogunmiluyi5690 if you are trying to compress videos on android there is an app called Panda. I used it when I was trying to send a 2min video via email and it compressed it and the quality was still the same. Hope that helps x

This is great, i had no idea I could increase the quality of my video by going beyond 1080, plus I’ve been unable to get the lighting to be stable whenever i move. I need to get a microphone and a little ring light which would help since my videos always come out a little darker at the top because I use only natural light. Watching you definitely pushed me to start my channel. You give really valuable information. I studied your videos for months, downloaded your equipment guide, all of it. You have no idea. One excuse I kept giving myself was that I didn’t have a camera. To be honest, I’m not willing to invest in one at the moment but when I came across this video months ago, I knew I should give it a go. Start with what I have. This video is very timely girl. I've been considering switching over to recording on my iPhone 7 plus since the quality of my canon 700d kit lens is shit, the 50mm too close. Thank you for this. I'll try it out and see which is best. Hopefully, I can save enough to invest in a 24-35mm sigma lens soon.
I use the Canon 700d too and the kit lens is not so great. The yongnuo 50mm lens is a prime lens with great depth of field.

There are so many videos that say to start a channel you “need” an iPhone or a camera. But, you really inspired me to use my Android and I really appreciate that. Because without this video I probably wouldn’t have believe in myself or my channel enough. Thank you❤️❤️
