Service means SEVA i.e the act of giving others without any expectations in return. Service takes the form of giving our presence or listening to others when they need us .
Eg. Ela bhatt fought for women labour rights.
      Importance of Gandhi quote:
      1. Serving others adds meaning to our lives
Eg. Distributing food packets to the hungry.
      2. Serve to shift the focus from 'ME' to 'WE'. This makes us from being a active consumer to a contributor.
Eg. raising funds for ashram on our special days
      3. Serve to discover empathetic and compassionate self
      4. Helps us be compassionate to our ownself. This reduces our anxiety and stress by understanding our own emotions.
      5. Helps in discovering the meaning and purpose of life .
Eg. Swami Vivekanand equated service to humanity with service to God.
Sometimes, too much of anything leads to good for nothing.
Serving others is good but not at the cost of our health.
The best antidote to all the self focussed problems like stress and anxiety is to be other-focussed. - prof. Stephen post.

@@sowmyar24 well organised, like the way you have used Stephen Post’s idea to conclude. Quoting academicians always helps as it gives your answer an academic flavour.
      Further,
EXAM TIP: when mentioned eminent persons like Ela Bhatt, you must introduce them.
Assume the examiner doesn’t know the person…you must write “Late Ela Bhatt, a Padmashri awardee…
Thanks kid for the making this effort of writing an answer. This made making the video worthwhile.

As a teacher/academician I only trying my best to share knowledge to the best of my abilities. I think of this initiative as a small service to students who have no access to learning resources.
I doesn’t matter how many watch the videos what matters is that at least the people who watch are serious about learning something new.
Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
