Quick tips, while your out hiking in the forested areas, make sure to look up into the trees, quite often cougars will sit high in the trees so will bears, also watch a minimum of ten feet back into the tree line on either side of you and watch for sudden motion, also watch for animal droppings like bear droppings, if it's fresh, try to look for paw tracks to determine what
direction the animal is travelling.
make sure your dogs lead and harness are secure, dogs who are loose who go running towards a wild animal will often run back to their owners with animal in tow.
if your going to be hiking, best not to put food in your back pack, bears can sent foods for something like eleven miles.
make sure to talk lots while hiking and make noise this way you don't surprise a sleeping bear or surprise a mountain lion
most wild animals will walk away from the sound of approaching people.
if you find yourself in the position of having to deploy your bear spray make sure the bear or cougar or wolf gets the spray in the nostrils and eyes this will generally make most animals run away.
also pay attention to your own sense of smell, bears like to roll in a lot of disgusting things and some times you will catch a really foul odor in the air
pay attention to this, also make sure your listening to sound of movement than can alert you to an animal
be aware there are now grizzly bear on the island that actually swam from the main land .
a good idea before you go hiking is to not use smelly deodorant or cologne, also certain romantic adult activities should be avoided
if you decide to any tenting, recent studies show that certain orders may attract a hungry predator

Yes there! Unfortunately we are not able to grow anything in winter. So far we have no gardening experience, but we will start growing in spring!🥦🥬🥕🍓🫐

Love your videos. If I could make a suggestion? Let the scene play out. Don’t be too quick to cut it to something new. We are not bored. It’s a meditation but it is too short every editing cut l stay with bread, stay with wood, stay on the walk….it doesn’t need to be fast action. Though saying that, Jake and Nicole are very slow and videos and activities were much too long. Thankyou

This is a beautiful video... beautiful couple,but I don't understand why people take such risk when living or going into the woods where this kind if wild life can SNEAK up on you and you gave no protection for yourself... A knife will do them no good up against a cougar, bear or crazy person.... Be prepared always... protect yourself....❤
Well, I think if you respect the animals and know how to behave its no problem living in the woods… The only thing i was worried about was kira in her puppy stage😅In addition to cougars and bears are here some hungry eagles flying around🦅

I have 2 2 yr.old mali-dutchie Shepard dogs girls and yes they like to bite me Pheonix she nips but listens to no however Nephta her sister wants toget my arm still she dosent griw out of it I must tell her no go get your toy I redirect her bite to the a toy I have alot of toys for them.
